𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐬 sitting backstage with her cheer group waiting to perform, they were going to do their routine after the group on stage.

Nailea was very confident they'd win, they have put their hearts and soul into this routine for nationals.

After all the tears and sweat they have been through all their hard work could pay off.

Now don't get Nailea wrong she was shaking in her cheer uniform out of fear. She didn't want to mess this up.

"How does my makeup look Lizzy?"

Nailea asked her friend as she looked in her phone camera.

"It looks great, we will definitely get points for looking hot."

Nailea laughed and agreed. She hoped they got a lot of points for something.

Nailea heard the teams on stage music cut, and she felt her heart drop.

"And there was The TigerClaws with Bite!"

Nailea knew they had a 2 minute intermission that usually went by lightning quick.

"Ok team!"

Nailea heard her coach yell out,

"We have been working so hard for this, and I know we can come out first. So make our gym proud ladies and gentlemen!"

Nailea smiled at her coach's words, she felt hope in her soul that they would go home national champs.

"Purple Cats on three!"

"One.. Two.. Three!"

"Purple Cats!"

Nailea smiled as she threw her hands up with her team, they have come such a long way just to make it to nationals. She wished Alejandro could be here cheering her on in the crowd.

All Nailea's teammates lined up in a line waiting to get called out on stage. Nailea was not in line yet. She set her phone down on her bag after checking the time one last time. Then ran into line.

"Now welcoming the Purple Cats with their routine Love Bites!"

Nailea felt the sudden rush of adrenaline go through her system as she ran out on stage with a big smile on her face.
