𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆: 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐅𝐈𝐂 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒
𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 as the clock hit 4am as she sighed. Alejandro didn't come in. I mean it might have not been the boy's main priority to come into the gas station for candy but it upset her that she didn't get to see the smiley boy.
She watched as her coworker walked into the door to clock into her shift. Nailea had already clocked out and was just waiting for her to come in.
Once her coworker was settled in she had purchased two bags of sour patch kids. She figured she could give them to Alejandro if he was up, if not she would simply eat them herself. Nailea walked out of the gas station and to her car. She sat in the driver's seat and texted Alejandro,
"Hey ale, you didn't come in to get your candy haha. I bought you your two bags and if your still up I could bring them to you :)"
Alejandro sat in his bed looking at the ceiling. The taste of blood was flowing through his mouth. His mom had pushed him from behind and he fell face first into the kitchen table he had chipped his tooth which cut his lip badly.
He sat up and grabbed his water bottle that was on the side of the bed that he had been spitting blood into. Alejandro felt his eyes get swollen from crying so much, he hated crying. It made him feel weak.
Alejandro put the water bottle down and grabbed his phone seeing a text from Nailea. He opened it and read the message. He started writing a text back to her, he didn't know what to really say but he tried to find words to type.
"Yeah sorry I got really busy with school work. But don't worry about bringing that candy to me."
He sent the message and flopped back onto his bed whipping his mouth that surly had blood around it. Whatever he wanted most in life at the moment was not for Nailea to see him like this.
Nailea was home when she received his message, she was brushing her teeth in fact. She read over his message and made a confused face. Alejandro said he never did his homework, no matter what it was.
"Ok ale, good night sleep tight."
She knew he was lying, but she thought maybe it was studying for a big test or maybe even just tired and wanted to get some sleep.
Nailea walked into her room and saw the two bags of Sour Patch Kids sitting on her dresser. She looked at them for a few more seconds before shutting off her light and crawling into bed.
