Juanita's POV
"I know you were expecting me, there's no point denying it" his smirk grows.
"M-Michael, you're drunk" is all I manage to say as I shift back, creating a little space between us.
"You're really beautiful" he scoots closer to me, before tucking some strands of hair behind my ear.
I gulp.
I nervously shift further away from him, but he follows my move, by scooting closer to me.
"You're so perfect, so beautiful, I want to kiss you so bad" he slurs, before not-so-gently grabbing my head, bringing his lips closer to mine, before I can react, he is forcefully pulled away from me.
I quickly jump to my feet, only to see him on the floor, with....Daniel on top him, driving blows to his cheeks.
"You bastard" he yells.
All the guests gather around to watch the scene.
Daniel still doesn't stop, Michael is already spitting blood now.
"Daniel that's enough!" I yell, trying to disentangle him from Michael.
"Daniel! You're going to kill him!" I yell.
"What the fuck!" Melvin whispers in disbelief, before dropping the drinks he initially intended to get us an running towards us.
In a matter of seconds, he separates them, Michael slowly staggers to his feet, while I wrap my arms around Daniel.
"Are you okay?" He cups my cheeks
I nod."I'm fine. Why did you do that?" I ask softly, my hands clutching his leather jacket.
"That bastard wanted to take advantage of you" he says vehemently, while glaring at Michael.
"I wasn't going to take advantage of anyone! If she can't handle a party, then why the hell did she come!?" Michael snaps, before wiping the blood on the corner of his lips with the back of his palm.
"Michael that's enough! What's wrong with you!" Melvin yells.
"And you," Daniel focuses his attention on Melvin. "You're such a douche! I can't believe you let girls get harassed at your parties. I always knew her coming here would be a stupid mistake" he hollers at Melin.
"Hey dude! No one wanted that to happen! So Forgive me if I'm not everywhere to protect everyone. I only left for a minute, I didn't know this would happen."
"Guys, that's enough!" I try to stop their bickering.
"You didn't want it to happen but it did anyway! If I hadn't arrived at the right time, who knows what that drunk shit would have done?"
"Look, I have told you–wait, why the hell am I explaining things to you? Who do you think you are? What are you even doing here? I don't remember inviting you!" Melvin snaps out of his calm state.
"You guys, stop it already, okay?" I vociferate.
"You're so disgusting! You have the nerve to get angry? I thought you cared for her?!" Daniel says, completely ignoring me.
"Of course I do! I care for her more than you could ever dream of!"
"Daniel! Melvin! Enough! I'm sick and tired of all these! If you both really care about me as you say, you would have listened to me and stopped this bickering a long time ago!" I yell, before shoving the onlookers from my way, making my way out of the house.
"Is she a child? These things happen at parties, no reason to act so childish" a girl says, but I don't bother to look and who said it, I just keep walking.
