Thinking over his words, I really don't have a choice. I'm going to have to become a monster. A monster. Since my parents were taken, I've despised every single thought of The Unholy. That's 8 years of constant hate even though I had never come in contact with one.

The bloodsucker sighs, "Very well. I'll give you until the next time you're in danger. Until then, think over my words. Just because I've taken a certain liking to you doesn't mean I won't feed you to anything over the fence."

With that said, he turns around, strolling back to the direction of The Tower. Even at this time of night, it glows brightly, standing tall and menacing. I had no doubt that The Unholy are watching over us; their little feed bags. I watch him walk away, only a few metres away from me before my mouth spoke without my consent.

"What's your name?" I call, mentally cursing myself as the vampire turns around, flashing a smirk at me.

"They call me Stephan," the bloodsucker calls back before disappearing back into the night.

Walking back towards the shack, I think about what I'm supposed to do. I have literally no one left, no one. Lucian never told me to do in situations like this, but I had a good idea what to do. Arriving at the shack, I take a night sack that I slept in and filled it with the left over weapons. Taking the small ammount on tinned food we had left, I haul the sack outside of the shack and start walking towards the line of our sector.

Over the years, I've accompanied Lucian to the meetings with the sector leaders. Let's just say I know who to avoid and who would help me. Our group is heard of among the sectors for our brutality and skills. That doesn't mean we are feared though. None of us have ever killed anyone innocent. Even sector crosses were spared. We only attack when we're in danger.

It isn't necessary to hurt more people. We have enough pain and fear in this place, let's not cause more.My mother always said that. I've always stuck by that saying.

The sectors are marked differently for every sector. The marking can't be too obvious as we don't want anyone finding us, but if you know what you're looking for, you'll see it. I'm going to Sector 4 which is a short distance away from my sector, Sector 7. The leader over there was Markus, his father was good friends with my father. Markus's parents passed away after my parents were taken. No one knows how they died, they were fine one day then the next they wouldn't wake up.

Markus and Lucian were good friends so I won't see a problem going to their sector. The only problem that comes along with that is that I had to pass through sector's 6 & 5. I walk along their sector boundary, not necessarily crossing into it. Some sectors were paranoid and had patrols, Sector 7 didn't and I was completely sure if either of these sectors did.

"Hey you, what are you doing here?"

Apparentally they did.

I turn around to see a boy, roughly my age with dark hair and a large build. As he walked over to me, his muscles in his arms ripples and I couldn't help but stare. Sure, I've met boys that were built, but not this built. This guy looked like he was on that drug that Lucian had told me about that existed years ago. Steroids? I can't remember.

"I need to see your sector leader," I tell the muscled boy as he comes closer.

"And why would you need to see Casper?" He asks, leaning closer to me, staring straight into my eyes.

"My sector leader and the rest of my group were ambushed and murdered about an hour ago," I answer, no emotion in my voice. The boy nods, accepting my answer and gestures for me to follow him. We walk alongside eachother to what I assume was their shack, except their shack was in between 2 trees, off the ground.
