''Y/n! Where are you?!''
''Mommy! I'm out here.'' In the high grass behind the small house, sat a little girl with small fluffy ears on top of her head and a fluffy tail waving from side to side. Her ears turned to the sound of footsteps getting closer and closer. But the small girl kept her eyes and attention on the creature in front of her. It looked like a breed between a monkey and a dog.
''Y/n.. What are you doing out here, I've told you to stay inside the house..''
Then she saw the creature, which were playing with the girl.
She sigh '' Y/n come here sweetie, now.''
''But mommy we're playing! It's just wanna play..''
''I said now!''
''Hmph.. I'm sorry, I have to go..'' The little girl got on her feet and walked to her mother, looking sad because playtime was over.
''Mommy..'' the small girl looked up at her mom with her big e/c eyes. ''Why is it only us who can see these creatures? Are we different from others? Why can't I play with them? Why do I have ears and a tail, but not you and daddy? Why..''
''Sweetie stop. You are only 5 years old, your dad and I will tell you more about everything once you get older. For now it would be best to just do as we tell you.''
''But moooom. Pleeaaasse tell me, I wanna know I wanna know!! You can't hide it from me, I deserve to know. I wanna know!''
''My princess wanna know what?''
''Daddy!!''
''Your home early today dear. Is everything alright?''
''Of course, just wanted to see my girls. Now tell me what were you talking about.''
The woman walked over to the man and looked at him with serious eyes
''Y/n were talking and playing with a hobgoblin out in the garden today.''
The man looked over at the small girl with a concerned look and a small frown.
''The enchantments are getting weaker everyday. The demons shouldn't be able to get this close to the house. If they get this close, then it can only mean that, we are not safe anymore, if those demons... Then He could track us too.. That's not good..'' He mumbled.
''What are demons? Who is He? Are they all just as cute and nice and friendly and...''
''Y/n stop.'' The two adults looked at each other and sighed. ''I don't wanna do this, she is way too young, but I think that we have to tell her..'' The man sighed and glared over at the girl who stood and jumped of excitement that she might get some answer to all of her questions.
The two adults walked over to the couch, placed themselves on each side of the small girl and looked at her, asking ''What we are going to tell you next, will be unpleasant. My sweet little girl, you need to listen carefully and remember that you will always be our everything and we love you very much.''
Y/n looked a bit scared of what they had just said, and feared even more what was coming next. But she wanted to know everything. She shook her head slightly, took a deep breathe, looked up and said '' I love you and we will always be together, but I need to know why I'm so different and why we don't look like each other..''
'' *sigh* Okay, listen here my sweet.''
