"Five?
"Lexa?" We both shared a smile as we pulled each other in for a long, overdue hug. "Where have you been?" He asked me in disbelief.
"It's kind of a long story," I said with a shrug. "Basically, I was sent back to my past, which is technicall...

My eyelids were heavy from fatigue as I dragged my feet along the floor. Henry and Leo were trailing closely behind me, and as much as I tried to ignore their presence I couldn't. The two of them were right on my tail.
When I reached the table, I dropped my tray of breakfast food down on it lazily. Asher jumped from my sudden disruption, while Zara and Bree didn't seem fazed. I sent my blonde friend a quick glance, but she didn't bother to look my way. I frowned and plopped down on a chair. Henry and Leo also sat down with their own trays of food.
I rested the side my head on my fist as I leaned over onto the dining hall table with an exhausted expression, mixed with a bit of annoyance. All of my friends—except for Bree, who I still haven't spoke to—were staring at me, waiting for an answer, but I remained silent. To say I was becoming more and more irritated by the minute was an understatement. I wasn't sure if I was vexed because of my lack of sleep, energy, or the fact that Leo and Henry—specifically Henry—wouldn't stop asking me questions about my findings the other day when I searched through Silas' office.
"We gave you a night, like you asked, but now we want to know what you found," Henry said. His tone was less demanding and more of an unsure question.
Leo nodded his head in agreement. His blonde hair flopped up and down as he did so. "Yeah, c'mon Blondie we're all dying to know!" I sighed as I took a bite into a red apple. The crunch was satisfying as I bit into it. I could feel myself regaining some lost energy from the fruit.
After nearly escaping from Silas' office the other day, I told Henry and Leo that I would just tell everyone when we were altogether the next morning. I didn't want to have to repeat myself and I also was still trying to process all of the information myself. It was a lot to take in, but I guess it was time to tell everyone what I was able to find. "I found the missing newspaper," I started off.
"What was on it?" Henry interrupted. I could tell he was becoming excited to find out whether his suspicions had been confirmed. Henry loved being right.
I recited the writing almost verbatim, "On October first, 1989, forty-three women gave birth to children with special abilities. Reginald Hargreeves adopted seven of these children and trained them to become a group of heroes—"
"The Umbrella Academy," Henry cut in again. We all glanced his way as his eyes widened in realization. "How could I forget about them?" He asked himself. Henry was big on history, but he was terrible at remembering dates. "I'm terrible at remembering dates." Henry was also predictable.
"I don't get it," Leo spoke up. The blonde boy wore a confused expression. I didn't understand what he was confused about because I had only explained one thing so far. "Who's the old guy again?"
"Reginald Hargreeves," I repeated myself. My eyebrows furrowed slightly. "How'd you know he was old?"
Leo shrugged. "I can tell by his dumb name," he snickered. I rolled my eyes.
