"Five?
"Lexa?" We both shared a smile as we pulled each other in for a long, overdue hug. "Where have you been?" He asked me in disbelief.
"It's kind of a long story," I said with a shrug. "Basically, I was sent back to my past, which is technicall...

When my eyes reopened, I noticed that I wasn't standing in the cozy diner that is Griddy's Doughnuts anymore. I was now in an alleyway between two, tall brick buildings. I glanced to my right to my right, but the woman who had teleported me here was already gone. I had absolutely no idea where I was or when I was, but I knew that this wasn't my previous timeline from before. Maybe the woman—whose name I never got—had kept her offer after all.
I spun on my heels and came face to face with a middle aged man. I nearly jumped backwards in fright at his sudden appearance. I didn't even hear him walk up to me.
He was a very tall man. I had to look up just to meet his bright eyes. His brown hair was messy and covered half of his face. The clothes he was wearing didn't really give me any indication of what time period I was in, but I blamed that on the fact that I wasn't too educated with dates and the fashion that correlated with them.
I was about to offer the man a small smile and ask what the date was, until I noticed the wooden baseball bat he held in his hard. The man slowly raised it into the air. My brown eyes widened as I took a step back, but before I could do anything else, the man swung the bat at my head in a swift manner, knocking me unconscious.

My head was pounding against my skull with one of the most intense headaches I have ever gotten. I squeezed my eyes shut in an attempt to mentally rid myself of the pain but it was no use. I probably had received a mild concussion from the man, who decided to hit me on the head with a damn baseball bat. I swear, some people can be so rude sometimes.
I glanced around the room. I was sitting down on a white, tiled floor inside of a small bathroom. My hands had been tied to a heat radiator behind me with a thick rope. For I moment, I began to panic. I wasn't sure where I was or who had taken me. I was worried about how I would escape yet another nightmare, but then I remember that whoever took me can't be any worse than Silas and the Horror Order. I had to cling onto that thought and keep it in the back of my head.
I phased through the rope and stood up. I walked over to the sink and stared at my reflection in the mirror. Ever after everything I've seen and been through at the Order, I still looked the same as before, almost like nothing had even happened.
My hands turned the two faucets and then splashed some of the cold water onto my face. I felt a bit more relieved in that moment. I could almost say that I finally felt relaxed.
As I stood up, I grabbed a towel that was draped over the side of the sink and dried my face off. My ears almost perked up when I heard muffled voices in the other room. "Where did you get the film!" A man shouted. I heard his footsteps walk further away from the bathroom I was stood in. "The Frankel Footage.. The truth this time!"
