"Five?
"Lexa?" We both shared a smile as we pulled each other in for a long, overdue hug. "Where have you been?" He asked me in disbelief.
"It's kind of a long story," I said with a shrug. "Basically, I was sent back to my past, which is technicall...

Leo and I walked side by side down a long hallway with a guard leading us to a room on the top level of the compound. We moved swiftly and quietly since it was sometime at night. A lot of kids had gone to their rooms by now, but most were still awake because the night was young.
Once the three of us got to the end of the hallway, the guard opened a door that led us to a room filled with a circular table in the center. There were chairs around the perimeter of the glass table and a white board at the front of the room. Silas was stood beside the white board with the company of a two other guards, Michelle, and Adam.
Upon noticing our arrival, Silas turned around an greeted us, "Ah, A7 and A3, welcome to the Order's mission room, where we discuss the assignments and go over plans." Silas motioned for us to sit down in the two seats in front of him. He nodded towards the guard behind us, who turned off the lights above. Then, Michelle pressed a button of the projector in the center of the table, turning the machine on.
Two pictures shined onto the white board now. Both images were of men who appeared to be in their mid-twenties. The man on the right had short, bright blonde hair that almost appeared white. His skin was tan with a pinkish tint. The man's eyes were dark brown and one of them was slightly bigger than the other.
The other man had dark skin with forrest green eyes. His hair was brown but it looked like it had recently been shaved. He had tiny ears in comparison to his much larger head.
Adam—the boys' tour guide from earlier—took a step forward and cleared his throat to gain our attention. "Tonight, you two will go on a stakeout in the city. Your targets will be these two men, who will remain nameless for the sake of zero attachments." Michelle clicked a button on the projector and the slideshow switched onto the next page. Now, there was a blueprint of the city and all of its buildings. My eyes were glued to Griddy's. "Here is the route you'll be taking. The targets will most likely be in this area, so if you see either men, don't hesitate to eliminate them."
Leo put his hands up in the air. "Woah, woah, woah," he interrupted. "Eliminate them? Is that code for.. Ya know, killing?"
"Yes," Adam replied simply.
Leo stared at him and then shrugged. "Sick." My eyes averted to his in shock at his uncaring reaction, but he didn't pay any attention to me.
"Any other questions?" Adam asked. Neither of us replied. "Great. Please follow me to the next room."
Leo and I both stood up and walked through the that was located beside the whiteboard. The room we entered was filled with various weapons that were hung on hangers on the wall. I spotted almost every type of gun, ranging from pistols to machine guns. There was also a section for knives, swords, and even spears. I spotted bins of grenades and even some other extravagant weapons that I couldn't even comprehend how to use.
"Each of you have received a new uniform for field missions, which you will find in the locker rooms to your right," Adam stated. "Once you're both dressed, please grab any weapon of your choice and make your way over to the cars in the garage."
