Eddie placed Narrator's suitcase in the back with his as Grant piled into the passenger seat. Eddie closed the trunk and hopped into the driver's seat. He started up the car and drove onto the highway. He plugged his phone into the car.
"Hey, Grant." He handed the phone to Narrator and continued to drive. "Pick a playlist."
"Gotcha." Narrator nodded and scrolled through Eddie's spotify. Eventually, he landed on a playlist.
"Nice." Eddie grinned as the first rap song came on.
"Eddie, could we stop by McDonald's or something?"
"Nah, McDonald's is shit. Besides, we'll get food at the reunion."
"But I skipped lunch!"
"Fool, I told you we'd be leaving after lunch!"
"I wasn't hungry then, alright?"
"You know, you're more of a kid than Gaege." He looked to Grant out of the corner of his eye as he pouted. Eddie sighed, "Fine, there's a Chick-Fil-A just up here. We can get some nuggets and fries."
"Thank you, Eddie." Narrator smiled.
"Of course, Narr." Eddie grinned. "I kinda owe you for helping me out."
"Eddie." Narrator stared at Eddie intently. "You don't owe me anything."
