Valentina stepped away from Grant to jump into the pool with Ben. Carson and Lukas introduced themselves.
"Hi, I'm Luke; I didn't get to introduce myself." Luke waved.
Grant waved back. "Hey, nice to meet you."
"And I'm Carson. I saw the crowd form around you and Eddie. Sorry if Valentina bothered you."
"No, it's no problem."
Carson smiled and looked down. Lukas nudged him forward. "I, ah, actually want to thank you." Carson continued, his eyes still glued to the ground. "Eddie the first to come out in our family, so it's a big deal, and he inspired me to want to come out myself."
"Aw, well I'll be sure to let him know."
"Do you mind if I told you? I'd be more comfortable with that. I've already told Luke, and I think it'll ease my conscience."
"Of course."
"I... I think I'm trans."
Narrator briefly stood there speechless before grinning ear to ear. "That's awesome! Congratulations."
Carson lifted her head up and Grant could swear he saw stars light up in her eyes. "Really! Thank you! Gosh, that was nerve-wracking." Carson nearly jumped in her Grant's arms in excitement. "Thank you!"
"I'm supporting you, you got that?" Grant hugged back.
"I do, thank you!"
Luke nearly cried at the sight.
Eddie turned his head from Valentina to see Carson hugging the life out of Narrator and Luke crying. "What the fuck is happening over there?"
