"he just needs to take there suppressants" the doctor told yohan who sighed out in relief as he thanked the doctor, "it was smart of you to bring him here before anyone else in the dorm suspected it was him. your university is quite strict on these things aren't they?"
yohan nodded. he snuck hangyul and himself out of the dorms in the morning when he couldn't take it no more. he didn't know how he was able to control himself, but he did it. hangyul's pheromones were no joke. his best friend really did start to smell like an omega.
"its going to be a mess when the alphas in the dorms start to find out" yohan rubbed the back of his head as he clutched onto the packet of suppressants he'd gotten from the doctor, "i'm scared for him" he glanced at hangyul who was sleeping peacefully on the hospital bed.
the doctor smiled at him and shook his head, "you did a good job as his friend already. if anything happens, feel free to bring him back here again"
yohan nodded, watching as the doctor walked out of the room before he went to sit beside hangyul and wait for him to wake up. he touched the other's forehead and smiled. he was no longer feeling hot, which was a good thing.
his pheromones had weakened as well. he'd never been so close with an omega in heat before, yet he was able to contain his inner alpha from doing anything that would hurt his best friend. even when hangyul was practically nuzzling up beside him and telling him to do things that he was definitely not going to do to him— he was able to control himself as best as he could.
"yohan!" the voice startled the alpha who was shaken out of his thoughts. the boy turned around to see one of hangyul's older brothers looking at him in panic.
"jaehyun hyung" yohan mumbled, standing up and bowing at the older alpha who was in a suit, all sweaty— probably just ran here from his work place.
the older alpha ran over to check on his younger brother and let out a sigh after yohan finished explaining everything to him. yohan was always close with hangyul's two older brothers. it was because he's known hangyul for so long and the omega's brothers were always protective of the youngest one.
"thank god" jaehyun mumbled, looking down at his little brother, knowing that he was okay, "you did a good job for bringing him here yohan" the older patted the younger on the head.
"do your parents know yet?" yohan asked curiously. hangyul's brothers were the first ones he called after he composed himself from hangyul's overwhelming pheromones. he hadn't called yuvin or seungyoun yet, but he was sure they knew something was up since they weren't on campus.
"they're on a business trip" jaehyun replied, looking at his watch, "i'll call them later and tell them about it. i'll watch over him yohan. you have class today don't you?"
yohan nodded, "will you bring him back to the dorms?"
"of course" the older smiled, waving at the younger alpha was he walked out of the room.
it wasn't a surprise to hangyul when he woke up in the hospital room. the bright light shining from above made him squint his eyes as he rubbed them. his nose then, picked up a familiar scent as he whipped his head around to find his older brother.
"hyung?" hangyul smiled, propping his two hands behind him to lift himself up, "what're you doing here? wasn't yohan with me?"
"he has classes to go to" jaehyun rolled his eyes at his younger bother, "and don't you want to see your hyung?"
hangyul rubbed his pounding head and nodded, "did yohan tell you? does mom and dad know? what about sangyeon?"
jaehyun chuckled, getting up from his seat and ruffling the omega's head, "sangyeon's still has classes and mom and dad are on a business trip. i'll make sure to tell them. i'm glad you're okay"
hangyul nodded. he grabbed his phone and looked at the time, along with all the messages and missed calls he got from his friends. most of them were from seungyoun which made his heart skip a beat after reading the text messages.
"you're up? do you feel better now?" the doctor interrupted his train of thought. he nodded, thanking the doctor for helping him earlier, "make sure to take your suppressants, okay? only when your heat is about to come and during your heat" the doctor pointed over on the table beside the bed with a box of pills.
"thank you doctor" jaehyun also thanked the older beta for helping his little brother, "but taking too many suppressants isn't good is it?"
the doctor nodded, "correct. however, he's going to need them until he can move to the omega campus at his school. its far too dangerous to not take suppressants unless he has an alpha boyfriend"
hangyul bit his bottom lip, looking at the suppressants laying on the table. chaos would definitely occur if anyone were to find out about him being an omega. he wasn't sure if the school would let him switch over to the omega campus with wooseok.
hangyul wasn't the only one worrying, so were seungyoun and yuvin.
"are you sure he's fine?" seungyoun asked, wanting to run off campus and head over to the hospital to make sure hangyul was fine for sure.
"yohan's in class right now" yuvin mumbled, looking at his unread messages from the younger alpha, "i'm sure he's fine"
seungyoun frowned, looking down at his feet worryingly. shouldn't he be there with hangyul? if yohan's here at school, then who's watching him? what if something happens if he's all alone? he's an omega afterall—
"seungyoun oppa!" the girl's high pitched voice snapped him out of his thoughts. he shook his head and smiled kindly. the girl held out a plastic bag filled with snacks inside, making seungyoun cock his head to the side, "you seemed a little sad today s-so we bought you some snacks"
seungyoun then recognized the girl and the group of girls who were behind her. they were from his music class and of course, there was no way he could deny it, "thank you" a smile appeared on his face as he accepted the snacks.
he was going to share it with hangyul after he finished his classes, of course.
it was nice to know some people were thinking of him. he was lucky to be so popular and have all of these people he called fans to encourage and support him. hangyul was definitely one of the people thinking of him as he walked out of the hospital.
