approaching hangyul about the situation was harder than what seungyoun had expected. it was as if the omega was ignoring him. whenever they passed each other by in the halls, hangyul would always avoid the alpha, not even sparing a glance. unknowingly, seungyoun had done the same for some odd reason.
it was like they were purposely ignoring each other.
hangyul didn't mean to. he just couldn't look seungyoun in the eye even after the past few days since what happened. he was busy working on his studies, getting ready for his exams rather than thinking of it. his thoughts had gone its way to thinking of the older alpha alpha reading a few pages of his philosophy textbook.
"this is boring" hangyul mumbled, closing his textbook and putting it in his bag. he decided that he'd go to a cafe and get some coffee in order to stay up at night and study.
he pushed in his chair as he left the study hall, making his way down the hallways. yohan still had classes, so he couldn't meet up with he alpha. and he still wasn't on good terms with seungyoun, so he was as lonely as ever.
he had wanted to approach the alpha earlier because he was tired of them ignoring each other, but his confident slowly slipped away when he looked up to see the alpha surrounded by girls, either asking for a picture or an autograph. he hoped that seungyoun didn't see him turn around and run off to the canteen for a lunch break.
in fact, seungyoun did see the boy. despite being surrounded by fangirls, he still noticed the distinct scent that hangyul emitted. he knew without even looking up from his feet. seungyoun wanted to give hangyul more time. he could've taken the chance and asked hangyul if he could talk, but he just had to be surrounded by his fans when hangyul approached him. it was the closest they got so far since the weekend.
he was busy since he was helping to prepare the graduation ceremony that was in a few weeks. he wasn't look forward to it since the ceremony would take at least three hours, but he was glad that he didn't have anymore exams since he took his last one a few weeks ago. he was free from studying now.
he was about to exit the school building until he felt hangyul's presence walking down the hall behind him. he stopped to turn around, seeing if his prediction was right and of course he was right. he didn't know if it was the right time to talk to the omega. he was getting nervous as the boy who was busy scrolling on his phone walked closer and closer.
"its sangyeons birthday" hangyul muttered to himself, busy opening the chat to text his brother. he hasn't seen his twin brother ever since school started. they did decided to pick the schools that were the farthest apart for some reason. well, it wasn't a bad reason. they just had interests in different things.
he had to admit that he missed having his siblings around. he only visited his parents on holidays and their get togethers were on special occasions. it was always fun since his family was around. jaehyun even brought his boyfriend along the last time they got together.
