hangyul gets drunk after his boyfriend broke up with him for someone else. he then, unknowingly, stumbles upon a handsome, popular alpha from his school the very same day.

hangyul's heat was finally over after a few days, allowing him to go back to school. yohan and seungyoun had helped him get the notes from the days he wasn't in class, which was helpful since the suppressants always made him feel sleepy.
"everyone's talking about the sweet scent they smelled in the dormitory" yohan whispered into hangyul's ear. the young alpha had brought the omega scent patches and other supplies in order for him to cover up his scent so hangyul didn't have to worry.
"it was like an alpha brought home an omega in heat or something" one of the alphas snickered as they passed by the two.
"i would've fucked that omega already. how could any alpha resist such a sweet scent?"
"i wish i could've gotten a whiff! i had classes all afternoon!"
hangyul's cheeks turned red as he heard all of these comments. he was glad he was wearing scent patches since any alpha could've smelled his distressed pheromones if he weren't. not only that, they would've hit on him and hangyul didn't want to imagine all the other things these alphas could've done when they smelled him.
it was sickening. as a beta, none of the alpha's scents had an affect on him. it either smelled good or smelled bad, yet he was overwhelmed by all of the alphas walking around in the hallways.
"i feel dizzy" hangyul mumbled, holding onto his textbook tightly. yohan quickly noticed the change in his friend's condition and quickly dragged the omega out of the school for some fresh air.
"better?" yohan asked, looking over at the omega who nodded, "does my scent . . . . . . . overwhelm you?"
hangyul shook his head, "of course not. i'm used to your scent you dummy"
of course being best friends with yohan for so many years, he was used to the alpha's scent.
"ah! there's wooseok hyung!" yohan pointed at the omega who was waiting for them by the school gate.
wooseok attended the same university as them. the only difference was that wooseok was on the omega campus instead of the alpha and beta one like yohan and hangyul. wooseok had a good reputation over on their campus anyways.

a lot of alphas talked about the shorter, complimenting him and wishing they were the lucky alpha to have wooseok as a mate. it wasn't easy at all to approach wooseok because of his cold aura. and wooseok wouldn't take just anyone as a mate.
but he did take one alpha.
"and isn't that jinhyuk sunbae?" hangyul asked, chuckling as he walked up with yohan, "i didn't know they were close"
"and there's yuvin too!" yohan excitedly whispered to himself as he left hangyul's side to run up to his beloved alpha. he's grown attached to yuvin ever since the incident and he was glad that it was that way.
hangyul squinted his eyes, looking for a particular alpha, pouting when he couldn't find who he was looking for. maybe seungyoun wasn't done with his soccer practice. the alpha did tell him in the morning that he'd be out late.
"looking for someone?" the familiar wave of pheromones hit him and he whipped his head to the side to find seungyoun smiling down at him.
"seungyoun sunbae" the corners of his lips secretly curved up as he said that. and of course hangyul was attracted to seungyoun. he was his fan after all. just, maybe not as crazy as his other fans.
seungyoun smirked, taking his towel and wiping the sweat off his forehead, "were you sad that i wasn't there with them?"
hangyul looked away from the alpha's flirty gaze with red ears, "of course not! i was looking for someone else!"
the omega's reply made seungyoun pout as he stopped wiping the sweat off his neck, "who was it then?"
hangyul couldn't admit that he was looking for seungyoun. he simply giggled, leaving seungyoun dumbfounded as he watched the younger skip away.
"you're not going to the bakery with her" wooseok crossed his arms, looking away from the taller. hangyul wasn't really sure what was going on by the time he got there, but he was suspected wooseok was jealous because of the look on his face.
though it was hard to tell on his face, being friends with wooseok ever since high school sure had its advantages.
"hangyul" wooseok whipped his head back to see the boy. he practically leeched onto the omega, hugging him tightly, "so you're an omega now huh?"
hangyul nodded, pouting a little, "its so hard being an omega"
a laugh escaped the other's lips as he patted hangyul's head, "you'll get used to it. it's easy if you have an alpha with you" wooseok winked, stealing glances at seungyoun who had caught up with hangyul, "i heard from yohan that you like se—"
"hyung!" hangyul's cheeks flushed red as he interrupted the older omega. wooseok simply smirked, teasing the younger until jinhyuk cut in to their conversation. hangyul thanked the older alpha for doing so. he didn't know if his cheeks could turn any redder.
"i'm gonna go to the bakery. i'll catch up with you later" jinhyuk mumbled, rubbing the back of his nape. he wasn't sure why wooseok was so against of him going out with the girl he mentioned before. he was getting the cake for wooseok.
wooseok huffed, "i'm going with you then" he latched himself onto jinhyuk's arm, making sure the other omega girl could see them before he headed off, "i'll see you tomorrow hangyul!"
hangyul waved at the omega before glancing at seungyoun who was occupied on his phone. he noticed yohan and yuvin had ran off somewhere, leaving just the two of them.
"you want to spend the night over at my place?" seungyoun asked, looking up from his phone. the question caught hangyul off guard as he was admiring seungyoun's soccer uniform and his beautiful figure.
"h-huh?" hangyul shook his head, making sure he heard the words right, "y-your place?"
seungyoun nodded, rubbing the back of his nape, "i wanted to show you what i've been working on so far"
and of course hangyul was delighted to hear the new song seungyoun was working on. he couldn't say no to seungyoun's invitation. who would?
