hangyul gets drunk after his boyfriend broke up with him for someone else. he then, unknowingly, stumbles upon a handsome, popular alpha from his school the very same day.

"you slept at seungyoun sunbae's house?" yohan practically shrieked, making hangyul cover his ears, "why didn't you tell me?!"
hangyul rolled his eyes as he nuzzled his cheek into the blue hoodie that he had forgotten that it even belonged to seungyoun, "i just did. don't act like you haven't slept over at yuvin sunbae's place"
"so i wasn't wrong about you having an affair with seungyoun" yohan smirked, tapping his pen on his desk, "did you have fun?"
hangyul puffed up his cheeks, nodding as he flipped through his english textbook. he did have a lot of fun joking around with seungyoun. he watched a movie together and it was probably the most fun he's had in a while.
"did you do the—" hangyul threw a crumbled up piece of paper at yohan before he could finish his sentence, "ow!"
"of course we didn't" hangyul mumbled, rubbing the back of his head, "that's just weird" though he thought back about the events last night that could've led to them doing it.
"your cheeks say otherwise" yohan snorted, looking over at hangyul, "and you're clearly attracted to seungyoun's scent. what about my scent?"
hangyul finally realized he'd been clutching the same blue hoodie ever since he started studying at his desk. there was barely any of seungyoun's pheromones left on the hoodie, yet he just kept sniffing it. his own pheromones from his heat had overpowered seungyoun's.
"your scent doesn't even compare to seungyoun sunbae's" hangyul chuckled, looking at the alpha pout, "butttttt i'm sure your scent does have some affect on yuvin"
that certainly brought a smile to the alpha's face. despite not really having interest in the older alpha first, he grew to start liking him. yuvin made him feel things no one else did— like his heart beating as if its going to jump out of his chest.
hearing the alpha pour out his true feelings made hangyul reminisce when he first fell in love with minjun. it kind of made him sad. he was thinking of minjun too often these days.
"you're still thinking about that asshole?" yohan mumbled the last part, but hangyul knew exactly who he was talking about, "he should be the last person to ever find out that you're an omega"
"he just keeps coming to my mind" hangyul whispered, smoothing out the blue article of clothing in his arms, "you haven't seen him have you?"
yohan pressed his lips into a thin line. he didn't want to tell hangyul that he saw the aggressive alpha wanting to pick up a fight with the other people on campus. he's gotten back to his old habits before he dated hangyul.
just a few days ago when hangyul was dealing with his heat, he, yuvin and seungyoun had run into the said alpha. of course he wasn't going to tell hangyul that. he'd get mad if he heard anything happen to his beloved sunbae.
"i uhm haven't seen him" yohan mumbled, rubbing the back of his head, "but i'm sure seungyoun sunbae makes you happier than he does" yohan smirked, glancing at how subtly the omega's cheeks turned pink.
well, yohan wasn't exactly wrong. seungyoun was his source of happiness other than yohan and his other friends. he felt like he got to know the older more yesterday. they stayed up even though seungyoun had class the next day to talk about their hobbies and their dreams.
"i— i guess you're right" a small smile appeared on the boy's face. he should be studying for their upcoming exams, but he was busy thinking about boys.
not boys. maybe one boy.
speaking of boys, seungyoun was busy telling his alpha friends about his wonderful night with hangyul while they were in the study hall. it was meant for them to be studying for the final exam in a few days, but seungyoun was busy flaunting his lovely night.
". . . . and in the morning he was right in my arms" seungyoun almost squealed like a school girl, keeping his cool instead since he didn't want to embarrass himself.
yuvin rolled his eyes, keeping his eye on his notebook where he was writing all of his notes, "what did you expect when your boyfriend fell asleep next to you?"
"he's not my boyfriend" seungyoun crossed his arms, pouting a little, "not yet"
jinhyuk looked up from his textbook to see the other alpha smiling to himself all weirdly, "you're telling me he isn't in love with your idiotic personality?"
seungyoun's smile was wiped off his face as soon as jinhyuk said that and was replaced with an eye roll, "of course he isn't. he likes the cho seungyoun because he's good at everything"
"good at everything alright" yuvin snorted, continuing to write his notes, "if only seungwoo hyung hadn't graduated last year" the alpha let out a sigh as he tapped his pencil onto the desk.
"he would've had someone to personally smack seungyoun for acting all arrogantly" jinhyuk contained his laugh in order to not bother the other students.
seungyoun simply jutted his bottom lip out even more, "you guys are so mean! you're supposed to encourage me"
it was the first time seungyoun has felt like this. its the first time he found someone so attractive in the past twenty four years he's been living. hangyul was just special.
"well you are doing pretty well" jinhyuk smiled, "you stole someone else's boyfriend before their official breakup"
"you make it sound like i'm a bad person" seungyoun chuckled as softly as he can in the quiet room, "i think you're hanging around with ice prince too much"
yuvin raised his eyebrow before looking at jinhyuk, "you're dating him?"
"he hates me" jinhyuk rubbed the back of his nape as he stretched his arms, "i think" the alpha wasn't sure how wooseok felt about him. wooseok was always sassy and well, jinhyuk sometimes didn't really understand how wooseok felt. jinhyuk did like him, which was how the two started to talk even though wooseok hated him. it felt like wooseok hated him less now.
"you're relationship with him is quite complicated" seungyoun commented, having his cocky grin on his face again, "at least hangyul likes me"
"or he's just hiding the fact that he finds you annoying" yuvin covered his mouth to hold in his laugh. it was fun to tease seungyoun who has zero knowledge in dating someone.
"yuvin!"
loud laughter from his two alpha friends filled the room and the three almost got kicked up out for disrupting the others from their studies, but it was worth the laugh.
