hangyul gets drunk after his boyfriend broke up with him for someone else. he then, unknowingly, stumbles upon a handsome, popular alpha from his school the very same day.

hangyul was rudely awoken by someone shaking him ever so vigorously the following day. last night's events seemed like a blur to him since he was exhausted. he didn't even know how he got back to the dorms.
"hangyul!" yohan shook his arm once more, making the omega open his eyes and glare at the boy who was interrupting his sleep.
"i'm tired" hangyul rubbed his eyes as he shut them closed once he saw the bright light, "go away"
the alpha rolled his eyes before getting up and sitting at the edge of hangyul's bed, "don't you want to explain to me why you made seungyoun sunbae carry you up four flights of stairs while you were sleeping like sleeping beauty? didn't you say you were gonna stay the night at his place?"
hangyul's eyes immediately opened once he processed what the alpha said, "he what?"
"you heard me" yohan flicked the omega's forehead, "now tell me what happened! don't you like seungyoun sunbae?"
hangyul rubbed the spot where yohan had flicked him, groaning as he got up, "i do like him. i just— i just messed i think" he wasn't sure if he had messed up. it was probably all his fault anyways. he made things harder for seungyoun.
"your date didn't go as planned?" yohan asked, raising his eyebrow in curiosity. the alpha had thought everything would be fine for the two considering how whipped they were for each other. why else would hangyul reject staying at seungyoun's place?
hangyul shook his head, "it went fine, but when we got to his place, i asked him why we were doing all things couples normally do when we're not a couple. i thought he would take a hint as to what i meant, but he didn't" the omega wrapped his arms around himself, pulling his legs close to his chest, "w-what if sunbae doesn't like me? what if it was all just a joke?"
yohan shook his head, putting a hand on the omega's head, "seungyoun sunbae wouldn't do something like that. he cares for you"
"he kissed me" hangyul whispered ever so softly, afraid to spill it out to his best friend, "but it didn't feel right. we aren't dating" friends don't kiss each other so passionately, do they?
the alpha frowned, letting out a sigh, "why didn't you confess? everything would've been clear and things would've gone well if you did in the first place" he remembered hangyul being the one to confess his feelings to minjun, so he was curious as to where all that courage went.
"i couldn't bring myself to" hangyul hugged his legs harder as he dug his head into them, "i was scared of getting rejected. i was scared that i would affect sunbae and his career if i did become his boyfriend"
yohan engulfed the boy into a hug, smiling warmly at him and patting him softly, "i'm sure seungyoun wouldn't mind if you did become his boyfriend. he treats you differently compared to everyone else. i'm sure he'll admit his feelings and confess to you soon"
that was— if hangyul didn't confess first.
seungyoun, on the other hand, felt like a complete idiot as he met up with wooseok at the school gate. the omega, clearly, didn't look excited at all to be woken up so early on a sunday morning, but being the good friend he is, he decided to show up and help seungyoun with his problems.
"you're the dumbest alpha i've ever met in my life" wooseok muttered under his breath as he heard seungyoun discuss all the events from last night, "you're even dumber than jinhyuk"
"hey!" seungyoun pouted, looking down at his feet as he leaned onto his car which was parked next to the sidewalk, "i just didn't process it fast enough and now hangyul's sad!"
wooseok let out a tired sigh, glaring at the alpha, "and what are you planning on doing to fix it? i can't be the one whose fixing it when you were the one who messed it up"
seungyoun pressed his lips into a thin line as he worked his brain to come up with some ideas to make it up to the omega. well it wasn't like the omega wanted to see him, considering how hangyul didn't want to stay the night. if only his slow brain could've taken a hint earlier.
"i don't know if i should approach him" seungyoun rubbed the back of his nape awkwardly, "he did look a little uncomfortable around me, which was weird"
"that's 'cause friends don't make out with each other you idiot" wooseok rolled his eyes, "and look at what you did. he wasn't asking for a kiss was he?" wooseok didn't know if he could put up with this alpha any longer. if his relationship with jinhyuk wasn't confusing already, seungyoun and hangyul's relationship was even more confusing.
"fuck" seungyoun muttered a couple curse words before slapping himself. how could he possibly just jump onto hangyul like that? he should've controlled himself and asked him to be his boyfriend first. friends don't just kiss each other out of the blue— he practically made out with hangyul!
now he understood why hangyul was acting all strange. why didn't it hit him yesterday? why did he come to realization the day after it all happened? it was too late to say anything now, wasn't it?
"talk to him" wooseok leaned onto seungyoun's car door as he looked at the time on his phone, "and drop me off at jinhyuk's place"
"yeah yeah i'll talk to him" seungyoun replied before whipping his head to look at wooseok, "wait. you two are dating?"
wooseok's cheeks flushed red as he looked away, walking around the car to get to the passenger's side, "we're not dating! we're just friends!"
"as if i don't know already" seungyoun smirked, remembering how jinhyuk blew up their group chat, saying how he scored wooseok as a boyfriend, "who did the confessing?"
wooseok puffed his cheeks in both annoyance and embarrassment as he opened the car door and hopped inside, "you don't need to know!"
"was it you?" seungyoun chuckled, getting into the car and starting dipping the car key into the hole, "of course it wasn't you. you're too embarrassed to say these things"
"shut up! unlike you, i know how to get a boyfriend!"
"says the one who said a few months ago that they didn't like jinhyuk and wanted to date a prettier alpha" seungyoun playfully rolled his eyes as he drove off to the other alpha's place.
yuvin has a boyfriend? check. jinhyuk has a boyfriend? check. seungyoun has a boyfriend? it's only him left huh.
