I opened my tired eyes as Zane gently rubbed my leg, waking me up from my peaceful sleep. Lifting my head from where it rested on the blue eyed boy's shoulder, I felt the car roll to a stop. Suddenly, I wasn't sleepy anymore. Sending an excited smile Zane's way, I hop out of the car, pulling him out behind me. His fingers were laced through mine as he followed me out.

The rest of the ninja silently got out of the van, Nya carrying Jay on her back as he smiled, his cheeks flushed with happiness. After laying blankets out on the lush green grass and bringing piles of pillows out, we all settled down. I sat against Zane, his muscular arm around me as we all ate the noodles that Zane had pre-made for us. We all silently clapped as Kai warmed the food up with the intense heat from his hands, a mischievous smirk on his face.

The sun quickly set, leaving the sky painted with light pink and purple clouds. More than anything, I didn't want to forget this moment, it was magical. I snuggled in closer to Zane, looking up at his soft white hair and breathing in his scent. He smelled like fresh air and clean laundry, like drying your clothes outside on a windy day. His pale blue eyes settled on me as I laid against his chest.

Fireflies appeared from their hiding spots in the forest that surrounded us. As the sky grew darker, more animals settled around us as we tried to stay as silent as possible, even though our excitement grew as rabbits and even deer settled around us, all watching the sky.

Bright stars emerged onto the clear sky, leaving us all gaping in awe. Without the city lights, it felt like we were surrounded by the tiny sparks in the sky. A star shot across the sky, followed by dozens of others. The moment felt like forever, yet it was only a few seconds long. A sense of peace covered us all.

I snuggled in closer to Zane as the evening chill set in. After a few hours had passed, we all climbed back into our vehicles. While soft, sweet music played in the background, Zane pressed a gentle kiss onto my lips, his light pink lips sending fluttering butterflies into my stomach. We stretched out in the back seat of Lloyd's old, beat up car as we began our long journey home after our perfect night. I slept on Zane's chest, listening to his rhythmic heartbeat.
