a/n: this is mature!! there is no actual smut but it gets kinda intense in a good way lol

Lloyd handed me the bag of Chick Fil A (minus the homophobia - this is a perfect world) as he pulled his 2011 Honda CR-V out of the drive thru. I smiled as I took a long sip of my chocolate milkshake, watching the sky fade into a beautiful purple. The clouds painted a beautiful picture as the sun set.

We drove late into the night, watching while the stars appeared from their hiding spots behind the clouds. Anything that we could've recognized was miles behind us. Playing every playlist I had, we laughed and cried, singing out our favorite lyrics at the top of our lungs. Lloyd's hand rested lightly on my thigh.

I looked at Lloyd with a soft smile, watching as he ran a hand through his wavy dirty blonde hair. He sang every lyric to every song almost perfectly, our voices blending together in the night. He himself was perfect. I could stare into his emerald green eyes forever, they held the world.

After hours of driving and listening to every song we loved, Lloyd pulled off of the highway, picking a random exit. Finding an empty Target parking lot after a few minutes, we parked and got out of the car. The lyrics to "Teen Romance" surrounded us as Lloyd took my hands in his larger ones and pulled me closer to him, putting a hand on my waist. My hand on his shoulder and our foreheads together, we danced, our movements completely in sync.

...until I stepped on poor Lloyd's foot. I burst out laughing as he flinched slightly, wrapping my arms around his waist. He leant down so I could give him an apology kiss through my laughter, watching him fake pout. I jumped up into his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist tightly.

He pushed my back up against his car, pressing his lips against mine. Butterflies fluttered around rapidly in my stomach and heat started to grow in my lower half. My heart beat quickly as I sucked on his lower lip, kissing him back passionately. My tongue found its way to his as it just slightly slipped inside my mouth, my body tingling. My hands found their way to his hair, finding stability in the feeling of my fingers threaded through his curls.

I was unable to keep my eyes open, and a blissful moan slipped through my parted lips as we gasped for air. Lloyd was so unexplainably perfect - his scent made me melt in the best possible way. The music that played in the background was overtaken by the sound of his soft moans in my ear as he trailed kisses down my jawline until he got to my neck. He left a string of love bites down my neck, sending a shiver up my spine every time his breath brushed across my neck.

Lloyd pulled away, gasping for breath. The chill of the night air surrounded us as he smiled, looking at my neck. I pulled him into a hug, kissing his flushed cheek. He opened the trunk of the car, laying the blankets and pillows (that I had insisted we kept in the car) out on the floor of the trunk. He laid down and patted the spot next to him, smiling as I crawled in, laying down with my head on his chest. Lloyd's long legs didn't fit in the car, but that was okay.

We watched the stars on the horizon and talked about anything and everything for the entirety of the night, pointing out particularly bright stars. In that moment, snuggled up in the back of his car, I realized that Lloyd was my universe. He was so perfect, with his laughter and the way he smelled faintly of soap and the smell of a forest after heavy rainfall.

"I love you, Sunshine," he said as he kissed the top of my head.
