"Thank you," Zayn thanked the taxi driver and walked inside the huge building. He was struggling to carry seven bags in his hand but somehow managed to held them without dropping. He entered the elevator and pressed the button. Few seconds later the elevator stopped on the 40th floor and he walked out. He smiled looking all around the familiar place. He walked forward and found a middle aged lady sitting in the office which once used to be his. He sadly smiled at it. He really loved working there and shamelessly admired his ex boss. He knocked at her door and she opened it smiling firmly.

"Yes how can I help you," she asked. She seemed very formal just like Liam wanted his assistant to be.
"I'm here to meet Mr. Payne. Is he in the office," Zayn asked still struggling carry the bags. She noticed that and extended her hand to help. But Zayn shook his head not wanting to trouble her.
"Mr. Payne is in a meeting but he will be out any minute now. So you can wait in the waiting area," she replied.
"No I prefer waiting in his office," Zayn said.
"Umm okay but do you have any appointment ? I just can't let anyone in there so if you could tell me who are you - " she wasn't even complete when a strong voice called out his name. Zayn turned back and saw Liam marching towards him with his jaw clenched. Did he do something wrong ?

Liam looked everywhere but luckily the area was empty considering only few people was having access to work in his floor.
He grabbed his arm roughly and walked into his office. He slammed shut the door and pressed the younger lad against the door making everything fall from his hand.
"Why are you here," he asked looking deep into Zayn's eyes. Zayn didn't understood what happened. He never liked it when Liam gets angry on him. He looked at him with a hint of fear in his hazel eyes.
"I asked you what are you doing here," Liam asked holding his arms a little tighter.

"I - I was out f - for shopping - ," Zayn stattered but Liam cut him mid sentence.
"Is this a shopping centre," he asked in anger and Zayn shook his head whispering a small no.
"Then what are you doing here," he asked for the third time. Well that's totally his fault. In first time he scared Zayn then in second time he didn't let the poor boy complete his sentence.
"I was done shopping and I didn't wanted to go home so I came here, " he said looking down.

"Look up," Liam ordered and Zayn looked up at him with glossy eyes, " you could have called me once." Liam's features softened and he pulled him in a hug.
Liam can never see Zayn cry.
"I'm sorry for scaring you babe," he said kissing the side of his head.

"I'm sorry," Zayn mumbled an apology for something he didn't even knew he did.
"No babe. Don't say sorry. Come let's sit," Liam said and guiding him towards his chair. He sat first then pulled his beloved on his lap wrapping his arms around his waist.
"What did you bought," Liam asked putting his chin on his beloved's shoulder.
"Nothing much. Just Christmas gifs for everyone," Zayn said leaning back a little.
"What did you bought for me," Liam asked curiously.
"I'm not going to tell you," Zayn smirked.

"Okay fine. I like surprise. Now tell me what do you want ," he asked planting small kisses on Zayn's neck.
"Anything but nothing expensive stuffs. I don't want you to give me expensive gifts," Zayn mumbled tilting his neck.
"You are expensive baby you don't know," Liam said between the soft kisses.

"I'm not a gold digger," Zayn said and Liam pulled away.
"When did I said that ? You are not a gold digger. Do not say that ever again," Liam said and Zayn nodded.
"But still. No expensive gifts," Zayn said turning towards him.
"I will gift you what I want babe. You don't have to say a word in it," Liam said kissing him sweetly.

"Fine. Can we go out please ? I'm hungry," Zayn said pouting.
Liam chuckled kissing away his pout, "let's go babe." He stood up and picked up all the seven bags kept near the door.
