Percy POV:

Phew I got to school in the nick of time. I ran to the office to get my schedule but as I was running through the hallways I was getting weird looks and whispers I didn't catch anything anyone said except for
"Whoa he's hot" or
"Wait isn't that Percy Jackson, the guy who went missing last year for months"

I didn't think much of at that moment, all I thought was
This is going to be an interesting year.

***time lapse in home room***

As I walked in and sat down in the back row of home room I heard whispers about the new kids and about me being back right out of the blue just as I sat down in the back row one of my old mortal friends, from before I disappeared came up to me, at first I didn't recognise her.

"Percy? I--Is that actually you?"

"Cassidy?"

Then she slapped me, well tried actually you see when you fight monsters every other day you develop some pretty crazy reflexes, as soon as she lifted her hand I caught it but as I caught the first I wasn't quick enough to stop the second let's just say it would've hurt like schist but as she slapped me I blacked out and lost all feeling...next thing I knew I was seeing a certain blonde kneeling over me I...I couldn't believe it I tried to say something but all that came out was a whisper...
"Annabeth?"

Right before I tumbled into complete darkness.

Annabeth POV:

After we had all gotten our schedules (which thanks to Paul were exactly the same as each other and Percy except for electives) we all started walking towards our home room as we were walking though we heard noise like someone just got b**ch slapped then an ear splitting scream that we recognised all too well I looked the others and I knew we all had the same thought in our head...
Percy.

We all ran to our home room and saw a group gathered around a person on the floor screaming, the first thing I heard was my name I ran to the group and pushed my way though I collapsed onto my knees by the unconscious boys side Jason, Piper, Leo, Frank, Hazel, Thalia, Calypso, the Stolls and Katie got the crowd to back up and they made a ring around us, I was just kneeling there looking down at Percy holding his hands waiting for him to come to, he'd stopped screaming by now but was still muttering I caught snippets such as.

"Annabeth...never...letting you get away from me...n...never again"

After about fifteen, twenty minutes of this he started to come to I think he tried to say something more but all I heard was him whisper one word...
"Annabeth?"

Then he fell unconscious again except not into a flashback.
