Demigods: A High School Experience

Chapter 4

Annabeth POV:

After our laughing fit in class we all went to our lockers which just happened to be next to each other 'thank you Paul'. Once we had all put our stuff in our lockers we were on our way to the cafeteria when familiar hands grabbed my waist, turned me around and pressed me against the lockers.

"Percy what are you doing"
"We haven't had some actual alone time so..."

"Well I'm—" I was cut off by Percy smashing his lips to mine, naturally I kissed him back and wrapped my arms around his neck he was holding my waist and pressing me against the lockers eventually we had to pull away for breath our foreheads touching.

"What were we talking about again?"
"I actually have no idea wise girl but judging from the noise coming from the cafeteria I'm guessing its lunch"

"C'mon let's go find the others Seaweed Brain"

We started walking towards the cafeteria, once we got there we saw the others sitting at a table pretty much smack bang in the middle of the room before we walked to them we went and got some lunch because we were late the line wasn't all that big, after we got our food which consisted of roast beef sandwiches and a drink we made our way to our friends. Not 10 seconds after we sat down the girl with the skimpy clothes came over followed by two other girls Percy seemed to notice them walking towards us, he groaned and muttered
"Gods dammit. Why me?"

I was about to ask him what he was talking about when the girl from class shrieked.
"Percykins where have you been!?!"

When she got to the table she did the unthinkable and kissed him right in front of me, I tried to control my voice and said...

"Why exactly are you kissing my boyfriend?"
"Your boyfriend Percy is mine" she said emphasising the word mine

Luckily for her because my hand was half way to my Drakon bone sword charm (AN: the gods concealed her sword as a charm so she could still have a weapon to activate it she's got to twist and pull the charm) Percy spoke up he tried to say it calmly but I could hear the annoyance and anger in his voice.
"Madison listen I never was and never will be your boyfriend ok leave me alone"

He then kissed my cheek lovingly I could feel myself blushing so much I think my face looked the same colour as Rachel's hair. Just as she was leaving she said
"Enjoy him while you can he'll be mine no matter what"

I just rolled my eyes and pecked Percy on the lips a sweet lingering kiss we didn't break apart till everyone on the table (who we kinda forgot were there) said to us.

"Get a room will you?!"

I blushed and Percy just smirked at them.

Percy POV:

I was still smirking up until four other mortals came our way once they got to the table my smirk was wiped off my face because standing in front of me are the four people I left behind here at Goode.

Cassidy (yes the same Cassidy who slapped me this morning)

Marina

John and

Adam

I looked at each of them in turn by the looks of it Cassidy felt guilty about what happened this morning and she wouldn't look me in the eye, Marina looked disbelieving, John and Adam look downright pissed, so of course in this situation Conner said
"Awkies"

Then the questions started
"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN"

All I could think after that one word was oh sh*t then I heard an ear splitting scream from next to me and Annabeth collapsed I caught her before she hit the floor and gently laid her down on the ground her head in my lap Gods dammit. Everyone started to crowd around but I gave them a death glare and they backed off immediately I cradled her and she started muttering things only I could hear.

"As—l—long as we—we—we're t—to—gether."

"B—bob s—says hello"

I kept telling her over and over that we were safe we weren't in there anymore it pained me to see her like this...hurting I hated to see her hurt or in pain of any kind. I sat there and rocked her back and forth for about 15 more minutes before she started to come to. When she opened her eyes she wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug and sobbed into my shoulder luckily the bell had gone 5 minutes earlier and the rest of the students had gone to class except the demigods who sat around us talking in hushed tones I just sat there holding my wise girl while she cried, once she had finished everyone gathered around us and gave us an enormous group hug Annabeth said she was gonna go clean up and to meet her in class I didn't want to leave her but she insisted that I go to class so while she went to the bathroom with Thalia, Piper, Hazel, Calypso and Katie (they all insisted on going with her, no idea why though) me and the rest of the boys walked to our next class the terrible and dreaded...English all I thought was ugh crap.
