Sonic's POV
"Wh-wh-WHAT?!"
My mind was racing. Everyone forgot me? How? How is that possible? I've saved Mobius an uncountable amount of times, and they just..forget me? I could feel myself tearing up, but I held them in as much as I could. "I'm sorry, Sonic..but..they just..forgot." Tails said, looking down in guilt. "But, can you blame them? Its been one year, and..well, you know how little of brains the townspeople have." I smiled at his statement, and he was right. But, this aside...they still forgot. I looked down, blinking away tears.
"Uh..so..how are you..well..alive? We saw you fall to Mobius from the ARK." Tails said trying to change the subject. I looked up at him and scratched my the back of my neck. "Heh..Uh, long story.." I said. "Ah" Tails nodded, then, after a couple minutes, he smiled widely and took my hand, quickly dragging me behind him. It was then that I remembered that Shadow was there too. I forgot he was there because he was so quiet. Anyway, I pulled on Tails' arm, stopping him. "Where are we going?" I asked confused. I didn't recognize the area at all. "Well, while you were..well..dead..we met a few new friends!" Tails said excitedly. He looked like he was about to burst.
After about 5 minutes, we finally got there. We were standing infront of three houses in a row, one was light grey, and looked very futuristic, another was a light lavender, and the last one was a tannish orange, and it looked very homey. We continued walking up to the tan house, and Tails knocked on the door. I saw a peach rabbit look through the window, and run away. From inside I heard a very faint voice saying "Mother! Ms Rose! Tails and Shadow are here! And they brought a friend!" we waited a few seconds before the door opened. Reveling a tall peach and orange rabbit wearing a very old fashioned dress. And next to her was a younger rabbit who looked just like her, only she was wearing a small orange dress with a blue tie.
"Why hello Tails and Shadow, what brings you here?" The tall rabbit said nicely. "Hi Vanilla! We have someone we would like you and Cream to meet!" Tails said, bringing me up infront of him. "Oh, well hello sir! What might your name be?" She asked, reaching her hand out. "Sonic, Sonic The Hedgehog!" I said proudly, taking her hand and shaking it. "What a nice name you have! My name is Vanilla, and this is my daughter, Cream." Vanilla said motioning towards the smaller bunny next to her. "Hello Mister Sonic!" Cream said with a wide smile. "Why dont you come in, dears?" Vanilla said, motioning for us to come inside, and we did so.
"Vanilla? Who's at the door?" I heard a rather familiar voice say faintly. "Tails and Shadow have brought over a friend! Why don't you come greet them?" Vanilla called, walking into the kitchen. When she came back, there was a familiar face standing next to her. It was a female hedgehog, smiling with her eyes closed. Is that..? No..it cant be..she looks too different. I thought. the hedgehog was pink, with long quills symbolizing hair. She was wearing a white T-shirt, tucked into a red skirt, with red heels and black bracelets. "Hello! Im Amy-" She stopped talking the second she opened her eyes.
