"I missed you."
I sniffed a bit, trying to compose myself before answering.
"I missed you too." I tried to say, but what came out was a whisper
"Um excuse me, who's this?" A woman's voice asked from on top of the stairs
Diego let me go and turned to her
"Lila, this is my sister Y/N." he said stepping aside
I held my hand out for her to shake, she looked at me up and down and took my hand.
"You look like a doll." She stated as she shook my hand
Her British voice had a slight teasing tone to it. I just chucked and let her go.
"Well I would thank you but I don't know whether that was a compliment or an insult." I said grinning before walking up the stairs.
I was greeted with the sight of alien newspapers all over the walls, radios on desks, and a man tied down to a chair.
"Um, should I even ask."
I walked past him and waited for the rest of guys + girl, to come up the stairs.
"So, what're we doing?" I asked shrugging my shoulders up
"We are looking at the footage that Hazel gave his life for, so that we could stop the apocalypse." Five explained in his ever so classic monotoned voice that always had a hint of either sarcasm, anger, smartassness.
"Okay then, let's get started."
I stood beside the tied up man slightly leaning back on the chair while the video began to play.
"Is it on?" A older woman asks the camera man
"I don't know." The camera man states
"What do you mean? There's an 'on' button. Just-"
"There's something over- that jigga-ma-thing, whatever." The woman tried to explain
"I hit the jigga-ma-thing." The man told her
"Okay, well just- give it to me. I know how to do this." The older woman told him as the camera began to move
"All right, here. Hurry up."
"Okay, alright, let's see..."

"They're so cute. I love old couples. I'm always so proud of them for not murdering each other." Lila says while painting the mans toenails green
"Why are we watching this?" Diego asks only to get shushed by Five
An old man suddenly came on screen obviously nervous.
"I... I'm Dan Frankel. And..."
"I'm Edna Frankel. We are in Dallas, Texas, to see the president. Today's date is November 22, 1963."

"Well, that's six days from now." Lila states
"No offence but way to state the obvious." I commented as I focused more on the screen
"Holy shit. This is it. The grassy knoll, Kennedy's about to get shot. How do you have this?" Diego asked Five in a mix of shock and confusion
"Hazel died to get me this footage. It must be the key to stopping Doomsday." Five explained to him
"Hazel?" Diego tried to ask
"Long story." Five stated
"What's doomsday?" Lila asked
"Longer story." Five once again stated
"What exactly did he say to you?" Diego asked him shifting his place on the counter top
"Well, he was killed before he could explain. But whatever he wanted us to see, it's on this film." Five explained to him before focusing back onto the film
Gunshots started to fire and the camera was dropped

"Oh my god."
"The presidents!"

Screaming continued on the film as the camera shifted. Five quickly rewound the film then stopped it. Diego, Five and I looked at the screen in absolute shock. Almost like someone dumped a bucket of ice on each of us.
Five took the projector and backed it up so we could see the shot closer.
"This can't be."
We each stepped closer to the screen.
"Okay, you gonna fill me in now, boys? What the hell is this shit we're watching?" Lila asked only to not get an answer
"No that's impossible." Diego stated
"Clearly, it's not." Five commented to him
None of our eyes left that screen
"Oh my god." I whispered, bringing my hand to my mouth before biting on my nails
"What, what is it?" The mans muffled voice asked
We took a second before responding
"Dad."
I walked back until I gently hit a wall. Diego was sitting down while Five was pacing back and forth.
"Of course Dad would be involved in the assassination. I should've know." Diego said to himself
"No you're jumping to conclusions." Five stated still pacing
"What else is he doing standing on the grassy knoll, holding an open black umbrella on sunny day in Dallas the exact same moment the president gets shot?" Diego asked in a fit of rage continuously pointing at the screen
"It doesn't look good, I admit." Five told him
"No, he's the signalman for the whole goddamn thing." Diego says
"Easy, Diego." Five tried to calm him
I walked up to Diego was about to say something when I he cuts me off.
"This is what Hazel was obviously trying to tell you. We have to stop Dad from killing the president." Diego explained his thoughts in, his own psychopathic way
"Wow there tiger." I said patting his arm
"Diego, calm down, all right? Dad was no Boy Scout, but presidential assassination? It's never been his thing." Five said trying to calm him down
"How would you know? You skipped out on his golden years." Diego told Five
"Skipped out? You think I had it easy Diego? I was alone, for 45 years. You know what? We don't have time for this right now. Dad's clearly in Dallas, right? Let's just go talk to him. Maybe he can help us fix the timeline." Five explained to him
"Dallas is a big place, we need to find him first." Diego stated
"Gee, if only we had some magical, old-timey way of finding people and their addresses." Fives sarcasm was definitely something I didn't really miss
"Woah woah woah, guys what are we even gonna say to him? 'Hey there Reginald, we're you're super kids from the future.' Guys this is ridiculous, it's absolutely ridiculous." I told both of them as I crossed my arms.
Diego and Five just looked at each other and went to go find a book.
I sighed and looked at Lila.
"Men." I rolled my eyes
She chuckled and continued painting toe nails
"What's his name?" I asked her
Lila looked at me then to the man in the chair
"Elliott." He muffled
"82, Olive." Diego's voice says from behind us
I walked over to them and as soon as I got there they take off in the other direction.
"Let's go." Diego says as he walks away
"Wait a second." I called out
"Am I coming with you or am I staying here?" I asked them
"The choice is yours." Five told me
"Well as much as I would love to have girl time with Elliott and Lila, I think you guys might need my help in case your asses need saving." I told them with a smirk as I began walking to them
"He okay to leave here like that?" Diego asked Five
"Yeah he's fine. What about the girl?" Five asked him
We looked behind us to see that Lila wasn't in the chair anymore.
"Shit."
Five and I sigh as Diego makes his way to do find her.
I began rubbing my wrist to ease the slight pain that was still there.
"Your wrist okay?" Five asked me
I looked up at him, then back down to my wrist.
"Yeah it's fine-I'm fine." I dismiss as I shake my head looking to the side
"Doesn't look fine, it's bruising. What caused it?" He asked me
"Nothing, I work in a flower shop, things fall." I tried to dismiss again
"Your a shitty liar Y/N, also you wouldn't be rubbing it if it didn't hurt. And it looks fresh." He stated
I let anger take over me for a spilt second and let something bad slip.
"Of course you'd know it was fresh, you caused it." I told him out of anger, finally turning my head enough to meet his eyes
Five looked at me with a slightly shocked expression, our silence didn't last long due to Diego finally coming my back.
"Okay let's go." I say with an angry tone before walking out the door and making my way out the back and into the alleyway.
I leaned against the wall as the realization of what I just did set in.
"Shit."
