Chapter Nineteen

As they fought Luther stood there still stunned while I was un noticed on the ground. Just as the pain felt worse than period cramps it stopped, as if it didn't happen. I still laid on the ground due to my body feeling sore.
"Getting tired yet?" Five.2 asked
"I could do this all day." Five responded
"Guys, this has to stop." Luther said as he tried to put an end to things
"Eat shit, ape man." Both of them said to Luther
They tried to go at each other but caused a reaction that sent them both flying back.
"Hey, assholes. I'm done listening to you both. I'm in charge now." Luther told them angrily as he held the gun at both Fives
"Now, Luther! Shoot him!" Five.2 yelled
"No! Luther, shoot him!" Five yelled as well
"How about we just don't shoot anyone." I said grunting
"Shoot him!"
"No, Luther, shoot him."
"Luther, shoot him!"
"Luther, shoot him!"
"Shut up, you guys are giving me a headache." I whispered to myself as I sat up
"Now, Luther!"
Luther then pointed the gun at Five, our Five. I tried to run to stop him but my legs felt like they weighed a ton.
"Luther..." Five trailed off
"I'm sorry, buddy." Luther apologized
"Please don't." I begged as I finally got up
For a second it seemed like it was all going to be over, until Luther hit Five.2 with the end of the gun.
"Now! Open the portal!" Luther told Five
This brought some of my strength up as I wobbled my way over to them, Five opened a portal. The energy caused a bit of wind to hit us, Five.2 tried to get up but Luther held the gun to him.
"Don't even think about it." Luther says
"Into the vortex you go, Asshole." Five tells him
"Fine! But give me the math. So I don't end up looking like Tiger Beat over here." Five.2 begged
"You stand next to the correct and I'll tell ya." Five told him
The other Five got there even though Five told him to get closer.
"This is close enough! Now give it to me!" Five.2 demanded
"It was a typo." Five told him
"Typo?"
"We put the decimal in the wrong spot in our proof of the existence of a bound for the number of limit cycles of planar polynomial vector fields of fixed degree. We wrote down 5.7 but it should be..."
"0.57." They say in unison
"Son of a bitch! I knew that didn't look right. All right. I guess this is it." Five.2 says as he looks at the portal
"This is it. Go." Five tells him as he adjusts his coat
Suddenly a fire extinguisher comes out and hits Luther right on the head.
"LUTHER!" I yell as I made my way over to him
Adult Five went for the suitcase, Five grabbed it first and they fought for it for a bit. The portal started to get smaller as they struggled more.
"Five! It's shrinking." Luther pointed out on the floor
Luther got up and kicked Five.2 into the portal just before it closed.
"We did it!" Luther said happily
"The briefcase, you idiot." Five said as he paced around
The briefcase laid on the floor with a chunk of it missing.
"Hey, you know what? A thank you for preserving you're existence would be nice." Luther said angrily
The radio said that the president was coming round, Five grabbed my hand and hurried to the fence.
"Luther! Luther! Here he comes!" Five said as he stood on the case
Luther ran up and lifted me up a bit so I could see as well.
"Look, there's dad." Luther said as he pointed to a man in all black with an umbrella
"What do we do?" He asked
"Uh-oh" Five said catching my attention
We all looked over and saw Diego running towards where dad was. Diego tackled him down but looked in shock and unsatisfied about what he saw. Gun shots fired as Kennedy got shot, we all looked in shock as everyone ran off in fear. We got down and my legs gave out again, I landed on my knee and stopped myself from falling fully by grabbing onto the fence.
"Y/n! What happened? You look terrible." Five asked me
"Is that what you say to all the girls or am I just lucky?" I joked as he kneeled next to me
He held his jacket sleeve to me, wiping some of the blood that was still there.
"Are you okay?" I asked him
"You're bleeding and are clearly weak and you ask me if I'm okay? You truly are something." Five said as he help me stand back up, he put me on his back and started to carry me, I almost dozed off but before I did, I had to tell Luther something.
"Hey, Luther." I said catching his attention
"Yeah?"
"I'm sorry for telling you to go to hell." I apologized before everything went black
