December 25, 1AM

By the time we were landing, it was already really early in the morning. Just as the plane was landing I saw a message on my phone.

Niall: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Eleanor: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!😼😼

I completely forget it was Christmas for a second.

Harry: Yeah, Merry Christmas guys!! Eleanor do you have a cat? What's with the emojis?

Eleanor: Uhmm.. I don't know, just like cats. 😽😽😼😼

Harry: okay... merry Christmas :D

"Merry Christmas Lou!!" I yelled over the noise of the plane.

"I may or may not have bought an extra bag for Christmas decorations..." he shouted back.

So that explained the extra bag... I hope the hotel we were staying in didn't mind Christmas decorations being put up all over the room.

"I still can't tell where we are" Louis said, just as the plane landed.

"You'll find out soon!" I replied, practically jumping out of my seat as we fully landed. "Cmon Lou!!"

I grabbed his hand and ran out, rushing to get outside even though I was super tired from the long journey and barely had any energy left.

"Slow down!" he shouted behind me, trying to keep up.

Once we got out of the plane, we had to have our bags checked through before we could go anywhere else and also got our passports checked out.

I was surprised he hadn't realised where we are yet, I told him not to read the name of the airport either as it would give it away.

Once we finally got our bags checked and everything, we caught a taxi to the hotel. It was almost rated 5 stars and seemed really fancy, and it wasn't the most expensive one either so I was excited to check it out. Apparently it had an indoor swimming pool and gym too. It's called Bolton hotels or something like that.

Whilst we were in the taxi, my phone started ringing. Who could be phoning me this early in the morning??

"Merry Christmas Harry!" My mother said from the other end of the call, sounding quite sleepy.

"Merry Christmas mum!" I said back. "Get some sleep"

"I will Harry, just making sure you're safe" she assured me.

I smiled as she hung up, I missed her already but I couldn't wait to tell Louis where we actually were. Apparently he had always wanted to go here because it seemed really cool but he's never been here so it was hard to figure out just from looking at the surroundings, so far there was a lot of scenery and we passed through a mini shopping centre on our way to the hotel. There seemed to be quite a lot of bars here, which made sense because I'm pretty sure the drinks they serve over here taste good. Even though I'm still too young to get into them, although maybe I could pass as being 18. Nah, probably not.

It was also very windy, which is probably why they called it 'the windy city.'

When we finally arrived at the hotel, before even stepping into it, it looked amazing. The scenery surrounding it was gorgeous, perfect for photos, it was quite dark but I could tell that we would have a lovely view of the sunset from our room.

We walked into the reception, Louis still curious as to where we were, but I think he was picking up a bit.

"Welcome to Wellington, this your first time here?" the receptionist stated.

Well, I guess the surprise was spoilt.
