Liam's POV

Harry and Niall came running back to the beach, however Louis wasn't there with them.

"Where's Lou?" I asked.

"One of the judges are taking him to the hospital, foot's quite bad" he answered, looking quite sad.

"You alright? You look sad" I said, patting his shoulder lightly"

"Yeah, it's just I've been away from him for so long and now he has to leave again and he has to go back to the hospital and he's already spent so long there" Harry replied, his eyes starting to tear up so I just pulled him into a hug. Instead of asking what happened between him and Louis, even though I was curious, I didn't want Harry to be sad so we played around for a bit before going back to the judges houses.

11am ~ Zayn's POV

We were getting ready for our first performance and Louis still hadn't showed up, I could tell Harry was sad and we were all trying to comfort him about.

I could definitely tell there was something between those two. Their connection just seemed.. way too strong.

As we were about to walk in front of the judges, I saw Louis running (or trying to run, but it looked more like a hop) to us.

Harry's face lit up when he saw Louis, and he ran up to him straight away.

We all had to assist Louis because of his foot, it looked badly injured but I'm glad he could perform with us.

12pm ~ Louis' POV

After the performance was finished, we all had a ride back to the x-factor houses which is where we would be staying for the next few weeks. Well, hopefully we would be staying, depending on how long we stayed in the competition. We did our weekly 'video diaries' and went up to our room to talk about things.

"So.. is there anything going on between you and Harry?" Zayn asked to me, smirking and raising his eyebrows.

"Uhm.." I blushed, I don't know how he figured that out, but we couldn't keep it from them forever. "Yeah. We're dating."

"I KNEW IT!!" Zayn shouted, standing up from his bed and jumping around the room. "I told you Liam! I told you there were dating!"

Liam just rolled his eyes at Zayn, and then started smiling at us. "I'm so happy for you guys."

"So, Louis, you still owe us a story" Niall said. I knew exactly what he was on about and decided to explain.

The other boys had no idea what we were on about, Zayn and Liam just looked at us curiously like we were hiding a secret from them. I mean, they didn't know about our past so I guess it was kind of a secret.

"I guess we'll have to explain everything to Zayn and Liam too, get ready for a really long story boys" I sighed, beginning on the story, starting from when me and Harry met at the bakery, then when we met Niall, then our trip to Wellington and then the sad part about me going into a coma for a few months.

"Wow, that was quite depressing" Liam stated, Zayn nodding in agreement. "So what happened next?"

"That's something I need to explain to everyone" I cleared up. They all deserved an explanation, especially Harry.

Everybody was sitting on their beds, dressed up in cozy pyjamas, Harry cuddling into me as I got ready to give my explanation to everyone.

"Well, it started when I was first taken to the hospital. I was trying to save my mother from the fire, luckily she escaped with only minor burns but I got caught in the fire and had to be taken into hospital, obviously I don't remember that much after that because apparently I was in a coma for around 12 months and they doubted I would wake up, yet here I am. Because I was in a coma for so long, they had to make sure I could still walk and perform basic functions because my muscles were all tensed up and hadn't been used in ages. It took me a while to get used to the basics again, but now here I am. It was about 20 months in at this time and they finally let me out of the hospital, but I still had to stay at home for another few weeks with my mum to make sure I was alright. During the fire, I lost my phone and it either burnt down to flames or got lost somewhere near that house which is why I couldn't contact you and it hurt me so much because more than anything, I wanted to talk to you and hear your voice again, I really did and I'm so sorry Harry that I didn't get to do that for a long time. We also had to move houses and get loads of money back and shit like that, it was really chaotic but I decided to sign up for x-factor to achieve one of my dreams since we lost a lot from what happened, I thought maybe if I signed up for it, I would at least get a little bit of hope back. And I guess it was fate that I did manage to get into the auditions because here I am with all of you guys right now."

The whole room was silent for a while, I realised I had been talking for a really long time but hopefully everyone understood. I was so, so happy to be back with Niall and Harry, and even making new friends who have grown to be some of the best people in the world and hopefully the people that would stay by my side throughout all of our careers.

"Wow.. that must have been tough" Harry said faintly, snuggling further into me.

"Yeah" Niall agreed, looking around to see everybody else cuddled into eachother and realising he was lonely so he grabbed a teddy and snuggled it into him. "I feel lonely now"

"You are" Zayn laughed, and soon Louis joined in with him and we were all laughing and joking around again just like nothing had happened. It felt good to explain everything to everyone though, and I didn't want to leave Harry's side ever again.

Soon enough, all of the other boys were asleep but me and Harry were still awake. Barely awake, but still awake.

"Do you promise you'll always stay by my side?" I whispered to him.

"Promise."
