ITS NIALLS BIRTHDAY TODAY WOO!! Also, sorry this chapter took me forever to write but I hope it's okay :)

⚠️TW: SELF HARM⚠️

January 1st, 2PM ~ Harry's POV

Louis hadn't been at theatre practise today, and he also wasn't answering any of my calls so I was slightly worried. Maybe he was just ill or something.

Niall and Eleanor were asking questions about what happened at Wellington, they also got a bit suspicious as to why Louis wasn't at practise because usually he never missed anything.

As soon as I arrived home, I checked my phone to see if Louis had answered my call from this morning. I decided to message Niall and Eleanor to see if he had messaged or called any of them.

Harry: Hey guys, has Louis been in contact with any of you?

Niall: Nope, haven't heard from him since yesterday when you two were on the plane

Eleanor: Same, haven't heard from him at all today😿

I was slightly starting to panic now, hoping he was just ill or taking a day off.

I couldn't help myself but phone him a couple more times, but each time it just went to voicemail because he left the calls unanswered.

Harry: Lou, are you okay??

Harry: You weren't at practise today, what happened?

Harry: Lou?? 🥺🥺

I spammed his phone, hoping he would at least read my messages so I know he's okay. Wait, what if he's mad at me? Did I do something wrong?

Harry: Louis are you mad at me?? I'm sorry if I did something wrong

Harry: Please get back to me as soon as possible, I miss you🙁❤️

I placed my phone down, trying to distract myself from the situation for a bit but I couldn't stop thinking and worrying about him.

All I could hope is that he is safe.

Louis' POV

I saw the fire surround our house, the firemen telling me to move away from the scene but then I realised something.

My mum was still in there. I could slightly see her figure from the upstairs just as the fire was spreading up there, and without thinking I ran into the blazing flames in an attempt to save her.

I was risking my life, but I didn't care. My mum had done so much for me and I wasn't going to lose her in a house fire like this, everyone at the scene tried to pull me back but I resisted their grip and sprinted straight into the burning house.

As I ran through it, all I could smell was the ashes and smoke. My face was completely red because of the high temperature of the room, I finally managed to see the stairs through the fire and ran to it with no hesitation. I'm pretty sure she was upstairs in her bedroom, so I just sprinted through the whole house trying to find the door but it was so hard to see.

Tears started falling from my eyes as the fire spread even further, almost reaching me at one point but I think I managed to escape it, even though I probably would have a few burns on me afterwards.

I finally managed to find her door, swiftly opening it and slightly seeing her figure through the flames. It was hard to get around but I had to risk it for her.

"MUM!!" I cried out, hoping she was okay.

"L-Louis?" Her voice was faint, she seemed weak.

I tried to find a path to her, but I couldn't wait any longer and just ran through hoping I wouldn't burn.
