December 25, 9am ~ Harry's POV

I woke up, looking beside me realising Louis was still sleeping peacefully. Wait, how did I get in the bed next to him? I probably crawled there last night, I was too tired to remember much though.

His arm was still on my chest so I had to carefully move it so I could get out of bed, hoping I wouldn't wake him up.

I grabbed some clothes and then went for a quick shower before he woke up.

Louis' POV

I woke up checking the time, wondering if going to Wellington was just a dream but soon realised it wasn't when I woke up in the hotel instead of my own room. Except I couldn't see Harry on the sofa, where had he gone?

Or maybe I was just in a dream again. Nah, probably not. Maybe he just went out for a walk.

Right?

I was starting to panic a bit because it was quite silent apart from the sound of my phone ringing, it was my mum.

"Hey Lou, sorry I couldn't get hold of you yesterday, Merry Christmas!!" she cheered.

"You too mum!" I said back. "Hey, can you hear running wotah?"

"No?" she replied.

"Oh okay, nevermind"

I ended the call, curious as to what the water noise was. It was coming from the bathroom, was the shower running on its own or something? What if there was someone in there?!

I grabbed a pan from the mini kitchen just in case, the door wasn't locked so I walked straight in, seeing a person standing in front of the shower and without thinking I went to hit them.

"OWW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR??" Harry shouted.

Oops.

"Uhmm.. I thought you were a thief or something" I mumbled awkwardly. "Sorry"

He was still laying on the floor, there was a little red mark on his head from what I saw but nothing too serious. I was SUCH an idiot.

I just walked out the bathroom, sneakily looking back at him.

He wasn't wearing anything.

Harry's POV

Ugh.. that idiot. He really thought I was a thief?

I picked myself up off the floor, my head pounding from where I had been hit in the head with the pan. I threw my clothes on and carefully walked out of the bathroom, holding my head slightly so I couldn't see where I was going.

Wait, did he see me-

Damnit, I should have locked the door.

I walked to the mini kitchen in the corner of the hotel room and grabbed an ice pack and held it up to my head

"Sorry" Louis apologised, walking up to me, giving me a huge reassuring smile. I loved his smile so much, it made me feel happy too so I couldn't help but smile back at him.

"It's okay. Where do you wanna go today?" I asked.

"How about we decorate the hotel for Christmas???"

"Sure, why not"

We both unpacked Louis' suitcase that was full of Christmas things, he pulled out a Santa hat and wore it on his head and we started playing Christmas music too, sadly a Christmas tree wasn't going to fit into the suitcase so we had to improvise with a plant that was at the side of the hotel room and started putting random ornaments on it.

I felt really stupid but honestly, it was so so fun and I felt like a child again, decorating for Christmas and getting into the spirit. I mean, I am only 14 which technically means I'm still a child, but I just felt really young again.

"I brought Christmas jumpers!" Louis said, excitedly throwing a jumper made of wool with a snowman on, then he passed me one with a reindeer on it and it was a little bit short because Louis was tiny but it was comfortable and it smelled like him so I kept it on anyway, just to keep the spirit going.

We were dancing around the room for a few minutes and decorating, it was probably the most fun I've had in a while, we were just being stupid but I didn't care what we looked like because it was enjoyable and I loved it!

I saw Louis putting up the mistletoe just above the entrance to our hotel, which I thought was a really bad idea but I just went with it.

"Are we wearing these jumpers outside??" I asked, smiling like a fool.

"Why not? Who cares if we get judged!" Louis replied, and I nodded my head in agreement.

Because it was extremely cold and windy outside, especially since it was winter, I tried making some hot chocolate for us. The hotel even had a fireplace just underneath the TV and we brought some random board games to play such as monopoly.

I could already tell this Christmas was going to be fun.

What made it better was that, I was with him.
