Chasing my Dream

Chapter 56

Everyone was in the meeting room.   Drinks were on the table already together with a few snacks.  Corey was sat in front of all the screens, Axel was sat at the far side with Phil and Marc and Brandon were the side closest to me. 

As I entered Phil looked towards me.  "It's good to see you looking better Pria, we were worried.   Our priority is to sort the threat to our family" he nodded towards me and I smiled taking a seat between Brandon and Marc. 

"We have things set" said Corey as one large screen my Dad's appeared and then another screen showed a large group of men. 

"Pria let me introduce you officially to the Blackbourne team" a series of hello's were said as I waved. 

"Ok I want to go through a few facts at the moment and then we can confirm any updates before we make any plans.  We can confirm all academy teams and members are located and safe.  Mr Stuart has not been located.  Slice and Beast are both deceased and Beast's old lady (Connie) has been detained.   We can prove contact between Connie and the penitentiary and a guard has been arrested.  Connie also had documents relating to the Boateng airbase which had been purchased by Beast.  Gustavo is the contact in Vienna for the guns and a cousin of Vlad.  We have managed to raid his compound and arrest all parties" Axel explained.

"So we still have whoever Beast was in contact with?" I asked.

"Yes, we have discovered plans at the airbase to confirm that Beast was arranging to break out Vlad.  With Beast out of the picture has put a spanner in that but with someone else still out there it might still be in progress.   We think they took you partly in retaliation for your Dad's part in bringing down Vlad and partly Slice's interest in you" Axel said.

"Yeah but I think I underestimated Beast's interest.   I think it was him that killed Slice at the safe house" I said. 

"Yes we have discovered that safe house but not the other.   We may need your help with any details of the first journey and the house.   Any further updates?" Axel asked.

"We have discovered that whoever else is involved is low key.  They have managed to keep their identity top secret.   We know they have a Ford Torino Cobra in black and are tall.  We have no leads for Mr Stuart and we are unsure if he's been taken or he's involved" Derek added. 

"We have a few contacts we are going to speak with.   There is some that come to the shop and have a good rapport   There is also a bikers group three towns over we will visit they insist we do their bikes and are trying to go legit after some trouble they may have heard something" North advised. 

"Their guns and women have all been recovered and Vlad's escape has been foiled.  His contact is going to become desperate to stay undiscovered" Brandon said. 

"My suggestion is to create a new player.   Someone who is selling guns.  Raven would be the contact and we would need to set him up in his own housing with a location for his supply.   We would have him under surveillance but limited contact see if we can sniff this contact out" Axel said. 

"That together with everyone trying to pull out any information on contacts we all go back to normal if only vigilantly" Phil said.

"I agree except Jacob.  He is to stay with the Blackbourne team.   We can have his school records changed to say he is on a trip.   Security has been altered at home and although we aren't 100% we've agreed to limit our movements when alone" Derek said. 

"Ok I agree that's all we can do at the moment.  Pria are you going home or staying here?" Phil asked.

"I think staying here would say we were still on high alert.  Going home would look more like we were relaxing into our old routines" I said quietly.   Thoughts of Raven out as bait was worrying me and thoughts of leaving these guys hit me.   I didn't want to leave them at all.
