Yuki - wake up Ken,  its  morning . I'm going for practice.  You should arrive on time on the field , our coach is strict with character of players .

Ken - thank you senpai , I will remember your advice .

I then woke up and started my running routine and went to my class afterwards . I was not in same class as sawamura and furuya which made me disappointed but I shrugged it off and started concentrating on class because I was not that great with studies .

Time passed and it was time for 1st years to gather on the ground and introduce themselves  . I was surprised after seeing so many fellow 1st years and started to focus . I saw furuya and kominato in there.  Furuya was looking uncomfortable and kominato was shy as hell .

I went towards furuya and started a conversation. 

Ken - yo , looks like you are bad with people . Hahahaha. .. dont give that annoyed look when senpai are watching . It will give them bad impression. 

Furuya - ah... you are right . Thanks

Ken - oye , where is my thanks . Sigh forget it . You know , respect senpai as they are strong themselves but allow us join their team . Remember it always .

Furuya - ( thinking ) yes you are right.  Thanks

I grinned at his response and listened to the introductions of the first year members . It was soon my turn and I introduced myself full of conviction. 

Ken - ( loud voice ) Ken,  from seiyo middle school . Position pitcher . In future I want to be a major leaguer .

Coach POV

Hoh.. this first year Ken , his words are filled with confidence.  He has the aura that doesn't lost to yuki.  Let's hope he doesn't disappoint me during practice .

Normal POV

After the introductions were over , I saw sawamura and the scene from anime played out . After watching his throw , I confirmed his huge potential which was more than furuya .

When we were going towards practice fields to show our performance .

Furuya - Ken,  you were right . Senpai look so strong . ( releasing blue aura ) I will not lose .

Ken - hahaha ... bakayaro , of course they are strong . If they were not I would have never joined  this school . But you forget about it.  With that untrained body of yours , you cannot even handle the training menu here . Hahahaha...

After saying that I went to the batting practice field .

Ken - senpai ( serious ) please dont throw any easy ball  . It will be gone before you know it .

Pitcher - huh..  ok . Dont regret saying that later first year . Hahaha ..

As I expected even senpai pitcher from second string were this strong here . The first ball was a sharp straight fastball down middle of the strike zone . It was good but not good enough to strike me out . I took a heavy step forward and swing  my bat as fast as I could and ting ... the ball went  over the right fence and home run .

Ken - thank you for serious match.  ( small bow )

I then left for pitching practice field after saying the cool line .

Yuki - hooh... this Ken,  my roommate.  ( releasing aura ) such good bat control and swing .

Coach - yes,  such potential . Yuki train him well . He is already a precious clean up candidate and  has so much potential.  This , you 3 rd years dont lose to him . ( serious )

Yuki - yes . I'm looking forward to his growth .

When I reached pitching ground , I saw many first years pitching sloppily there . Furuya was no where to be seen . I guessed that he must be waiting in bullpen for miyuki senpai to catch his ball .

I then stepped on the mound and threw my best fastball right down the middle . Boom...... my ball made a crushing sound with the Mitt and surprised everybody and they stopped to watch my performance .

Coach - Ken , show me all your pitch types . Dont dissapont me now ( smirk ) .

Ken - yes sir .

I then threw my fastballs in all corners of strike zone with perfect control and read the expression of coach . After a month of hard practice , speed of my fastball was now 148 max .

Just as I expected he was surprised . I then showed him my forkball , which evolved during training and travelved the same speed as my fastball . It broke suddenly near the batter and strike out . I then threw some more forkball with perfect control outside and inside of the strike zone to impress coach more .

Coach POV

Hehehe... such a monster . 100 % control and such speed of ball in his first year . What a break angle of forkball . Looks like he can practice diligently as such precise control cannot be achieved in a day or two . Let's meet REI to know more about him .

Normal POV

Coach- yosh , Ken . Go complete ground laps with other first years now . ( satisfied smirk )

Ken - yes sir .

After that I went to do ground laps . When I reached the first years , I saw them running and panting heavily.  I sighed looking at furuya who was by far the worst and sawamura who was running like crazy without any signs of exhaustion . I then went towards furuya .

Ken - furuya yo .

Furuya - ah hi Ken,  looks like practice went well for you . Sigh I'm just barely completing my laps now .

Ken - furuya you are an idiot you know what . Look at that loud guy running like crazy , you see the senpai here can run more than 10 times as him and never tire out . That's why I said to you that you couldn't do much here with that untrained body of yours . Look at your skinny leg muscles , what can you pitch with them . Even if you are a monstrous pitcher who can throw balls with fast speed , you will only tire quickly and lose control over your ball without good lower body and stamina. 

You told me that you were going to have miyuki senpai catch your balls at night right . Ask him about my advice now and see for yourself.

Hahaha.... the I'm going to run and eat to my full after completing 20 laps . Watch me I will run the whole sets with a tire and still complete them earlier than you all including that loudmouth.  Hahaha...

After that I went and borrowed a tier , tied it tightly with a rope and started running . I quickly passed sawamura and ignored his rambling and completed my 20 laps quickly . Just  I had expected,  nobody could compare with my speed even with a tire .. I shaked my head in disappointment at them and went towards cafeteria to eat my full .

Furuya - wow .. ( releasing aura ) I'm not going going to lose to Ken. Hmph ..

Sawamura - hahahaha... I'm not going to lose . Let's run with a tire everyday and beat him . Hahahaha...
