status and start of the tournament

After the matches when everybody else were enjoying after a hellish week,  I was in my bed reviwing my STATUS after a long time..

this was my STATUS after so much hard work . To be honest I tried my best to master curve and sinker more but even with my enhanced brain skill it was not possible to master then completely in a short time . I just hoped now that these 2 will improve more and more with others as I continue to throw them in actual games .

Tomorrow came and opening ceremonies for Tokyo tournament were held . We went to the stadium and saw various new teams that were ready to fight it out during the tournament.  I saw narumiya mei and other main pitchers from various teams and unconsciously released my aura to the fullest which alarmed them . I got embarrassed but forgot about as by looking in their eyes I got the message. 

After the start of tournament,  everyone would remember me as a monster rookie pitcher . I will make sure of it . I will crush these prideful bastards during our match ups .

After the ceremony we were back at out training facilities . I helped furuya control his pitches and warned him to  always pay attention to his pitching form as problems with it lead to bad control and injuries . For kominato I helped him with bat control so that he could hit more and make chances when he is batting .  

At night , meeting was held as we discussed our plan to defeat our first opponent  maimon west . Kawakami senpai was promised the position of ace closer for the tournament to ease his worry by coach himself.  He was not doing that well these days and pressure started affecting him greatly . For me no concrete plan was formed and coach decided to  use me when situation needs me .

Furuya was the starting pitcher for the game and as usual miyuki senpai was the catcher , I would defend left position to be ready to pitch whenever I was told to .

After the meeting I conducted a small meeting with kominato and furuya. 

Ken - that , did you remember the habits of the batters completely furuya?

Furuya - yes

Ken - bakayaro,  you are so tensed from now . What will happen tomorrow now I'm worried . Listen now , I know its your first official game with our team and you want to answer the expectations of team members and coach perfectly.  But remember that they only have expectations from your pitching not from you  , okay .

What I mean is that they only expect you play like you normally do in practice which got you position of a regular in team of almost 100 members of our baseball team . Remember that always that you are always pitching for every single member of our team.  That's why its disrespectful to not enjoy the game to the fullest for there are so many members  in our team who cannot enjoy it. 

You trained so hard to have fun remember.  So just do that and everything will be fine . We are only first years,  our only responsibility for the team is to enjoy the whole game and fight to best potential. 

Sigh dear haruichi , looks like brain fried from all that talk.  Just make sure that he rememberes to have fun out there and dont lose to the pressure .

Kominato- okay . Sigh you know what Ken.. you talk like our coach sometimes. Serious hahah...

I got embarrassed after hearing that comment and ignored the 2 idiots and went to practice bat swings . Swinging the bat continuously is a great way to release stress as it helps to clear your mind and the more you swing , your body remembers it . I was really excited to get a chance to play from the start as a left though . It didn't matter,  so I forgot about time and returned to my room to sleep after 12 PM. 

Morning came and we went to the ball stadium in our imposing uniforms . When we reached the stadium many people started talking about various things like expectations,  condition of our ace etc . It was good to see that so many people were waiting for our team to play . I secretly steeled myself to perform my best and unconsciously released aura  the whole way inside the bench in stadium .

Our opponents were frightened for some reason and my kominato was pointing a finger at me .

Jun- bakayaro,  Ken aura aura.  Calm down kid . Our opponents are frightened . Hahahaha... I like this guy  

I was out of my stupor after hearing Jun senpai and got so embarrassed that I wanted to find a hole to hide and never come out .
