The game started and it was our turn to bat first . As expected they brought out their  ace mei from the start.

Our first 3 batters were fooled by the battery with change up and slider with some fastballs and were struck out with only 3 pitches . I guessed that their plan was to conserve energy till they can to retain meis stamina for the end .

When our turn was to pitch. Carlos hit the first meat ball that tanba senpai pitched and advanced 2 bases with his high speed . But our ace woke up after the hit and struck out their next 3 batters  . 2nd and 3 rd with only controlled fastballs using various corners of the strike zone and 4 th batter their captain with a perfect forkball which tanba senpai showed for the first time in this tournament. 

Then in 2nd inning yuki senpai hit the change up with some difficulty and advanced to first base. Masuko senpai hit a strong ball that went straight in meis glove . The my turn came . I intentionally ignored the first fastball to confirm the trajectory and went into stance of hitting very close to the plate .

Mei- ne ne .. if you stand that close to the plate then you will be hit by the ball. 

I then talked back to him to trigger his pride

Ken - I don't have anything to worry  . Even if the ball hits me then it's a free walk to first base.  Haha..

I saw his expression and knew that he would try to make me hit the change up by reading his personality.  Just like I expected the change up came .

I then stepped back took a heavy step and hit the ball hard when it started to drop at the plate. 

Hahaha... it's easy to hit when you know that ball is going to drop straight downwards and top of it it's a slow one and timing is easy to read and then swing your bat as hard as you can . For batters like me who wait for the ball till late and hit with a fast swing , change up is the worst pitch to throw .

I then did a guts pose and circled the field while yuki senpai too reached home . Like that we had a 2 run lead from the start which caused mei to throw a sloppy ball to the worst batter miyuki senpai as he was catcher and he hit a homerun. 

Mei then calmed down and struck out our 8 and 9 th batters. 

Then till the end of 4 th inning the score did not change as tanba senpai never allowed a hit and mei started pitching with full power.  I was intentionally walked and they made it seem like that it was luck . Same for yuki senpai .

From the fifth inning I stepped on the mound and struck out the 3 batters with full power fastballs  with 9 pitches in the strike zone .

Miyuki- oye ken , won't you tire quickly of       ...

I interrupted him

Ken - dont worry senpai I will not even tire at all after pitching a full game at full power . Aside from that please mix some breaking balls in your lead so that I can practice them and make my fastballs  more effective. 

Miyuki- sigh ok if you say so . I only believed you because I've seen you running all the time . Hehehe...

After that the game continued .we scored more runs from mei as he was tired from serious throwing from the start of the game . I also allowed some hits when my breaking balls especially sinker were not properly controlled but I never let them score as miyuki senpai only called for fastballs when it was a pinch . I seriously loved this guy such aggresive lead for the whole game.  It made things more fun .

In the last inning mei showed his pride as ace which I crushed at my last at bat by hitting a 2 base of his slider . They tried to score their best in the last inning but I only used fastballs and forkball which I had full control over and never let them score  .

Just like that seido won the semifinals   .the last score was 6 to 0 .

My achievements in the game were .

5 at bats , 2 home run , 1 2 base hit , 2 times walked

Pitched last 5 innings , allowed 7 hits but no run

We celebrated our win while the opposite bench was being lectured by their famous kunitomo coach .

When we shaked hands with the opponents before leaving the ground,  I talked with the catcher and mei .

Ken - mei San,  your biggest mistake to underestimate me and start throwing seriously after my first home run .I think you know more than me mr. Captain . Hshahfhs...

I turn ignored their angry expressions and left with my team .

Captain - you know something,  he is more a monster than you mei .

Mei - ( small tears ) why

Captain - idiot dont you know . He was practicing his breaking balls the whole game and had perfect control over his max 151 fastball and fork ball . The only hits we could hit were from his curve , cutball and sinker . I guess that he had started learning them recently and was trying to evolve them within the game . Sigh , although opponent,  I respect him.  Let's work hard and have revenge in summer . Hmph ..

Mei- yes ( aura )

Kunitomo - that's absolutely right.  Our loss was only because of that pitcher who noticed our pacing strategy and riled you up after scoring a home run ahead of the schedule.  And last bit not the least his perfect relief pitching greater than tanba kun . Now learn from this experience and stop being a brat all the time . There are many kings out there not only you . Most of all he is not arrogant and is friendly.  Now,  let's prepare for the summer when he will return as more sturdy wall before use
