I went to coach office with REI chan.

Coach - what's wrong Ken,  I can see fire in your eyes for some reason. 

Ken - sir , I want to be the starter pitcher at finals at any cost ( aura )

Coach - even if you didn't tell me , I would still use you because tanba is tired and you are the best pitcher on the team that I trust after him .

Ken - thanks coach , I will not disappoint you .

Coach- misss rei , will you please leave us alone for a moment .

REI- okay ( suspicious)

Coach -thank you

After rei chan left,  coach told me that my novel of naruto was going to be published and to meet my editor . I agreed to meet him tomorrow and give him the second and last part too .

After that I was told that our opponent in finals was teito . I remembered them from anine , so I left the office and gave a smile to rei chan who  was waiting outside .

Now that we have won the semifinals,  even if we lost the final match day after tomorrow we may  possess a chance for ticket to koshien spring tournament . But I knew after staying for a time in this team that they would fight with all their might in the finals . And it was same for teito too as I remembered that their coach was a always fired up old man .

I then went to find miyuki senpai . On the way I met many senpai who had grateful looks on their faces when greeting me back . This made me slightly embarrased.  But it was a good feeling to be counted on by somebody .

I quickly found miyuki senpai who busy training furuya and eijun with chris senpai . I guess the first year regulars were nervous because the Bench count allowed in koshien spring tournament was only 18 players .

I ignored them and found ono senpai in bullpen who was setting the mound there.  I quickly went to ask him to catch my balls fully knowing that he would never refuse given his caring character. 

As I expected he agreed instantly and I pitched my breaking balls to improve them quickly by using the experience gained when playing the game with inashiro high school . I pitched 100 pitches and then ono senpai stopped catching saying that it was enough and left the bullpen .

I didn't have enough so started checking my form while shadow practicing . I dit that till dinner time and went to eat my full . I ate 5 large bowls of rice quickly and dragged nabe senpai to video room to watch and remember trajectory of balls thrown by Mukai taiyo and check any batters that could cause me some trouble .

I quickly used my enhanced mind to the fullest and memorised the pitching pattern and found out that the catcher inui has a dangerous swing that is par with yuki senpai .

I then quickly went to swing my bat till late night and started thinking about the finals .

The opponent pitcher taiyo had insane ball control and dived his strike zone into 9 parts and further more depth in a 3d image . The speed was not that much but his pitching was more dangerous than mei . They both had the same personality of complete narcissism but inui had good control over taiyo during the game .

The simplest strategy was the best in his case , to wait for the ball till last moment and swing your bat as fast as you can . The problem was that his balls broke after entering strike zone more in depth and the low balls could be dangerous to hit . I decided to think it out clearly and find a good way to deal with his balls .

Morning came and I met with my editor that coach told me to.  He introduced himself from flying publishing house who had great expertise I'm marketing good novels . I was impressed and without him saying anything about it have him try last part of naruto novel that was more than 300 pages .

While I swinging my heavy bat , he was reading my novel . He took full 2 hours to complete it and told me that it was great too and the ending was a masterpiece.  I was embarrassed to hear such praise as I basically plagiarized the manga in my past life . Ah h... in my past I am that i was an otaku though i only read the most famous manga at that time .

I told him that everything from royalties to publishing date , I would le him handle them as I  was supposed to be a hidden writer .he asked me to change my decision but I straight replied with a simple no . It would be a bother if I got any otaku fans behind me all the time .I also told him that I was planning to write a new novel of one piece after the finals and would like to work more with him in future.  I didn't know at this time I would be working for a long time with him as writer of bestsellers and he would get promoted to chief editor after the release of naruto novel . I then got his contact information and gave my number and told  him that I would give him a call myself and to not bother me with useless calls. 

Then I continued my practice with ono senpai and swung my bat for more than 5 hours at night . Like always I talked with sakura after 10 PM and went to sleep at 1 am of the day of finals . Though the practice time was much longer , I got my way to hit taiyo balls completely   .
