Ochako yawned and stretched, sitting up and rubbing the sleep from her eyes. She slept well, and groggily stepped out of bed and stretched some more. Uraraka was a bit grumpy, she was always reluctant to get out of bed, but she changed out of her pajamas into a more suitable outfit. When she looked into the mirror, she realized her braid had come undone and left her hair messy and wavy. She frowned and combed through her hair with her fingers, straightening it out again. Turning around, Ochako quickly made her bed and headed downstairs. She passed a few of her classmates on the way, greeting them as they all collectively headed to the kitchen to make breakfast. There was a lot of food for the students, but somehow they always ran out of the food that they liked the most. Each student had a section of the cabinet to themselves, and Uraraka picked the cabinet right next to Tsu's. She opened the cabinet to get her mochi pancake mix, some ingredients, and a pan. She hummed a tune as she started to make herself pancakes. A few curious students were able to notice the pancakes, and drifted closer to see what was making such a pleasant smell. Tsuyu was one of them, peaking her head around the corner of the fridge to see what was going on. "Are you making pancakes, Ochako?"
"Yeah, mochi pancakes! I got this mix from the store because I love mochi, and figured it would be great in pancakes."
"That sounds good, where'd you buy it?"
"It was at the convenience store."
"I'll have to buy some to try later."
"Why wait? I can make you some right now!"
"Really?"
"Yeah! I might burn them, though." A burning smell started to drift past the two.
"Ochako, you should probably flip your pancakes."
Uraraka turned, seeing that her pancakes were burning. "Ah, my pancakes!!" She quickly took them off the stove in an attempt to save them, but their sides were too crisp to be even remotely edible. "Aww..."
"I can help if you want, ribbit."
"I'd appreciate that, thanks Tsu."
"You're welcome." Asui smiled, taking what little was left of the pancake mix and pouring it into the pan. "You're probably going to need to make more of the batter."
"Okay!" Ochako grabbed some eggs, water, and milk, mixing them together with the pancake mix into a bowl. She looked down at the bowl to see that she had a large amount of pancake batter. "Uh... I think I might have made too much."
Tsuyu flipped the pancake on the stove before turning to see what Uraraka was talking about. "That's a lot of pancake mix, I think it would easily feed half the class."
"We can just make people pancakes for breakfast!" Ochako grinned, setting the bowl next to the stove. "I'm sure they'd like it, since we usually only eat cereal, frozen waffles, and oatmeal."
"That's nice of you to share your pancake mix so generously, Ochako."
"It was cheap, so I can always get more."
The two girls started making pancakes and putting them on plastic plates, along with utensils and syrup. Students drifted closer to see what was happening. "Hi Uraraka! Hi Tsu!" Hagakure waved, walking over. "Why are you guys making so many pancakes? Are you feeding a bear?"
"We're making pancakes for the class! Would you like some?" Uraraka offered her a plate.
Hagakure grinned despite the fact that no one could see her smile since she was invisible, happily taking the pancakes. "This is great! Thank you so much!"
"You're welcome!" Both Tsuyu and Ochako said in unison.
Hagakure turned to the hall way and started to shout: "Guys! Tsu and Uraraka are making pancakes for us! Get 'em while they're hot!"
