Chapter 14: Get Along

~Yeonjun's P.O.V~

*Ring*

"Yeoboseyo." -

"Hi Ryujin. It's been a long time..."

"Yeonjun oppa? Hey long time no talk!" -Ryujin

*Chuckle*"Yeah... Say, are you still working at a hospital?"

"Yes I am. Why? Anything you need?" -Ryujin

"Yes, I need your help with blood..."

"What? Why?" -Ryujin

"I'll explain if you'll agree."

"Well, I'll only agree if you'll forgive Lia unnie and Hyunjin oppa." -Ryujin

"What? Seriously?? I told you I already forgave them."

"Not talking to them shows you really haven't." -Ryujin

"Ok fine, I forgive Lia, but I'm not sure with Hyunjin."

"Ok good. I need her help that's why I wanted you to forgive them haha." -Ryunjin

"Alright alright, so... When are you available?"

"Tomorrow. Fetch me here at the hospital. Still remember?" -Ryujin

"Yeah sure, bye."

After calling Ryujin and asking her a favor, I saw Yeji sitting at the bay window looking outside. She looks sad so I tried to cheer her up.

"Hey Yeji, wanna go outside?"

"Outside? Will you allow me??" -Yeji

*Nod*

*Smiling* -Yeji

'She's so cute when she smiles.'

We rode my car and headed to the park. While driving, Yeji was looking outside the window, again. She's probably scanning right now since everything is new to her.

"Where are we going?" -Yeji

"To the park."

Park - A large public green area in a town, used for recreation.

"Done searching for the meaning of park?"

"Yes, how did you know?" -Yeji

"I created you."

I 'parked' my car near a small stall. They're selling street foods. Man it's been a long time since I last ate one. I invited Yeji to eat street foods. She needs to taste the deliciousness of it.

"What are those?" -Yeji

"Street foods."

~Yeji's Short P.O.V~

Korean Street Foods - It has traditionally been seen as a part of popular culture in Korea. Historically, street food mainly included foods such as Eomuk, Bungeo-ppang and Tteok-bokki. Street food has been sold through many types of retail outlet, with new ones being developed over time.

"Wanna buy some?"

*Nod* -Yeji

We bought some street foods and ate them before heading to the park. We looked for a bench and saw one. But before we could head over there, Yeji's stomach was growling of hunger. I told her to wait for me at the bench while I buy another food to eat. The side effects of having artificial intestines makes her hungry a lot.

"Wait for me here, I'll buy another food."

"Ok." -Yeji

After a couple of minutes, I went back holding two corndogs and two water bottles. My hands are big so it was easy carrying it.

"Can I scan it?" -Yeji

"Sure, here you go."

*Scanning* -Yeji

"Corndogs." -Yeji

"Yup. And it's delicious."

We ate our food and also talked to each other. I noticed before that she's been closer to Soobin lately so I tried to make her comfortable around me. I wanted us to be friends. She had another bite and this time, the side of her lips was smeared with dressing. I removed it with my thumb and felt her skin heating up. Since she doesn't have blood yet, you'll only know she's blushing is when her skin heats up. It's a good thing she's learning how to feel.

"Finish your food. We'll be going back now."

"That fast?" -Yeji

"Yeah, you might shut down again if you scan everything you see."

"Alright. But can we go outside again next time?" -Yeji

"Sure. Why not?"

We drove back home after a day at the park. Before we could reach the building, I saw Hyunjin again. This man won't really give up huh?

"Hwang Hyunjin, why is he here again?" -Yeji

"Y-you know him?"

*Nod*"I saw him outside last week begging for you to come out." -Yeji

I can feel myself trembling. Hyunjin and Yeji can never meet. Ever. Or else I'll be screwed if they do.
