Chapter 56: Disease

~Third Person's P.O.V~

Hyunjin arrived back at the building with Ryujin and Lia. Just wanna visit Yeonjun after finding out his condition. Soobin started keeping an eye on his students after the 'almost accident' from Hueningkai yesterday. He noticed that Chaeryeong wasn't at the lab yet. He started scolding at Beomgyu in his head to stop touring visitors around the building. All of these were happening while Yeji and Yeonjun were just watching them.

"We're here!" -Hyunjin

"..."

"Where are they?" -Lia

"Maybe they went to the lab." -Hyunjin

"Is Yeji unnie fixed now?" -Ryujin

"Yup! No need to worry." -Hyunjin

The three of them went on their way to the lab. Same goes to Beomgyu and Chaeryeong who just finished circling around the building. They bumped into each other and introduced themselves.

"Oh! You guys are here!" *smiling* -Beomgyu

"Who is she?" -Ryujin

"Why? Jealous??" *smirk* -Beomgyu

"Hi! I'm Chaeryeong! Sir Soobin's student." -Chaeryeong

"Oh you're Chaeryeong??? Let's be friends!" -Ryujin

"O-ohh ok!" -Chaeryeong

The two happily went inside the lab room leaving a confused Beomgyu. Hyunjin and Lia were laughing on what happened. What a bad mood for the poor guy.

"Hahaha!!!" -Hyunjin and Lia

"Pls stop! I know that was a wrong move..." -Beomgyu

"Atleast you can learn from your mistake." *pat* -Hyunjin

The three of them went in and joined everyone from... Whatever on mother earth they're doing. Soobin was trying to teach but Beomgyu would distract them. Chaeryeong wasn't even listening after she made a new friend which is Ryujin. Yeonjun saw that Hueningkai was fixing his Molang plushie like it's also alive and listening. The only normal ones were Taehyun and Yuna. (Wow... Yuna was behaving?)

"Since I'm not going to repeat what I said, go to your stations now." -Soobin

"Wait we're doing something?" -Hueningkai

*Face palm* -Yuna

"Chaeryeong!" -Taehyun

"Oops! Sorry, I forgot the lesson... Can you teach me Taehyun?" -Chaeryeong

*Sigh* -Taehyun

Lia helped his boyfriend Soobin on keeping an eye on his students. Hyunjin and Yeji were talking about Yeonjun's heart disease and the guy, well... Was staring blankly or spacing out. How would you spend your day knowing that you have a heart disease? Thinking you could possibly die? Will you join the fun and forget the serious situation you're currently having or dealing with?? Surely not. You need to find a way to heal. Unfortunately, heart disease doesn't have a cure.

"Yeonjun hyung, what are you thinking?" -Beomgyu

"N-nothing. Don't mind me." -Yeonjun

We've seen Beomgyu from the shallow surface as the guy who loves to tease people and keeps hiding the fact that he has a crush on Ryujin. And a funny guy whom we think is gay over Taehyun. But if we look at his role deeply since day one, he cares for his friends a lot.

The time when he was worried over Yeonjun if he finds out that Yeji likes Soobin before. The time when he kept telling him to reconcile with Hyunjin and Lia. And surely the time when he tried to help his two hyungs talk when they were ignoring each other. Beomgyu might be a playful person, but on serious situations, he actually looks for solutions.

"H-hyung, what if..." -Beomgyu

"What if?" -Yeonjun

"What if I tell you that I know something that can help you with your disease." -Beomgyu

"Really?!" -Yeonjun

Everyone looked at Yeonjun who accidentally shouted too loud that it was heard all over the lab room. Beomgyu was about to tell Yeonjun his plan but got interfered by Soobin who wants to ask for his help with the computers. And so he agreed.

Before the dark sky took over, everyone had a fun time inside the building. All characters met each other and became friends. Some old ones and some new ones. But we still have to know Beomgyu's plan right? He gathered everyone at the living room before the four students and two nurses leave the building.

"Hi everyone! So I would like to inform you on something... You see, our friend here Yeonjun hyung was actually diagnosed with heart disease..." -Beomgyu

The four students chattered about the shocking news. Well, they're the only ones who haven't heard about it yet.

"But heart disease doesn't have a cure." -Ryujin

"I know, and that's why I thought of a solution..." -Beomgyu

"Then I'll take it!" -Yeonjun

"Hyung, don't be hasty." -Soobin

"He's right oppa, let's hear him first." -Lia

"So what is it sir Beomgyu?" -Yuna

"Y-you see... If we succeed then, we can save Yeonjun hyung's life. But if we fail... H-he could..." -Beomgyu

"Don't tell me..." -Yeji

"He could die early." -Beomgyu

"And so? What is it??" -Hyunjin

"We can do some surgery and make him... Half robot. We'll replace half of his organ with an artificial or synthetic copy that can help prolong his life span." -Beomgyu

Yeonjun couldn't believe what Beomgyu said. He never thought of him as this smart in serious situations. And when he said the word organ, he knew what he was trying to point out or say.

"Which organ specifically are we gonna replace?" -Soobin

"Half of my heart." -Yeonjun
