Chapter 50: Last Dear Diary

~Yeonjun's P.O.V~

~Flashback~

It's been a week after Yeji's death. Heartbreaks really hurt for sure. It would be better if she broke up with me. But no, she died instead. I felt like my heart was torn into half. I locked myself at the hotel room for days. Soobin and Beomgyu tried to call me but I wouldn't answer them. Hyunjin and Lia as well. But this time, they went to my hotel room.

*Knock* *knock*"Yeonjun hyung, pls, we're sorry." -Hyunjin

"If you came here earlier before, then you could've saved her! I thought you're medical people!"

"Yes oppa but we couldn't gaurantee someone's life can be save." -Lia

"Just go! I don't need you anymore! You didn't even saved your own sister!!"

"Hyung! Pls!" -Hyunjin

"I said go! Go back to Seoul!!"

I heard footsteps walking away. I think they left. I kept on crying at my bed. I miss her so much. My phone then rang but I didn't bother to answer. It rang multiple times and it annoyed me so I finally took it and answered it.

*Ring*"Yeoboseyo." *sniffle*

"Yeonjun oppa, I'm sorry I couldn't come." -Ryujin

"It's alright Ryujin."

"No oppa, it's not! If I stayed with her there at Busan then maybe I could've helped her get better. Maybe she wouldn't possibly die!" *sniffle* -Ryujin

*Sniffle*"I... Understand."

"I'm really sorry oppa, I wish I could've saved her." *sniffle* -Ryujin

"Same goes to Hyunjin and Lia. I wish they could've saved her too."

"But did you know what happened to them why-" -Ryujin

Ryujin got cutted off when another caller popped up on the screen of my phone. It was someone I know.

"I'm sorry Ryujin, but I have to answer another call. I'll text you later."

"O-ok oppa. My condolences." -Ryujin

"Thank you, bye."

She hanged up and I answered the other call. It's been a long time since I last talked to her. How is she doing now? And why did she call me again?

"Yeoboseyo."

"Hello Yeonjun, it's been a long time." -

"Yes ma'am."

"Still remember me?" -

"Of course Ms. Chinsun."

"Good to know that." -Chinsun

"But why'd you call ma'am?"

"I heard what happened to your girlfriend. I'm sorry for your loss. Say, can we meet today? Maybe you need someone to talk with." -Chinsun

"Sure ma'am, just text me the address."

"Ok!" -Chinsun

She hanged up and I prepared myself. After days of being locked up at the hotel room, I think it's time to meet the sunlight. I went out carefully to make sure Hyunjin and Lia aren't around anymore.

'Looks like they left.'

I drove my car and went to the address ma'am Chinsun texted me. She's actually my teacher in science technology back at Seoul. She's like my best friend and Idk why but, I just feel comfortable around her. As I arrived at the place, It was actually at a cafe. I went out of my car and walked inside. I took my order first before sitting at an empty chair infront of my teacher.

"Hello ma'am."

"Hello Yeonjun. Oh my, you look pale..." -Chinsun

"Oh really?"

"Yeah, and pls, since you're a graduated student, just call me Chinsun noona." -Chinsun

"I-I see... Chinsun noona... So what are we going to talk about?"

"Well, I was about to go inside your hotel when I met two friends of yours. A girl and a boy." -Chinsun

'I bet those were Hyunjin and Lia.'

"Since they know me, we had a short talk and they requested me to give you this..." -Chinsun

Chinsun noona gave me a notebook that is very familiar and special to me. It was Yeji's diary. I started tearing up at the sight of something related to Yeji.

"Yeonjun, open on the last page and read it." -Chinsun

I nodded and obeyed her. I started reading it silently with my eyes. I kept crying while looking at it. I miss her so much.

Dear diary, it's me, Yeji. But this might be the last time I'm going to write something here. The reason is... I'm getting weaker. And I think I'm dying. I hope Yeonjun oppa could see this. It's dedicated to him. Oppa, if you are reading it, I just wanna tell you that I love you so much. I'm very glad I gave you back your hanky and bumping into you for how many times since then. If I ever leave this world, I wanna remind you that you deserve to be happy. Don't mourn for a long time for my loss. Don't make your life miserable just because of me. Be happy even if I'm gone. I'll forever love you babe.

I couldn't stop crying. I miss her more after reading her letter. I hugged her diary, not caring if other people will think I'm weird. I want her back. So much!

"Yeonjun, you know, you're one of my best students before. And since Yeji doesn't want to make your life miserable, I would like to suggest you something..." -Chinsun

"What is it noona?" *sniffle*

"You can create a robot for the meantime." -Chinsun
