Chapter 27: Suspicious

~Yeonjun's P.O.V~

I was doing my stuff infront of my computer when I got hungry. I went to the kitchen which was actually near the entrance of the building if I haven't mentioned it. I was about to go back when Beomgyu and Yeji arrived. Everything looks normal until I noticed how puffy Yeji's eyes were.

"Yeji, did you cry?"

"What? No, I didn't." -Yeji

'Since when did this robot learn how to lie?'

"Beom?"

"Hmm?" -Beomgyu

"N-nothing." -Yeonjun

I went back to my computer and continued my job while eating. I couldn't focus infront of me since I saw Yeji with puffy eyes. What happened? Also, how did she learn how to lie? I waited for her while she studies for her next Turing test. Beomgyu then sat beside me.

"Beomgyu, mind telling me what happened to Yeji?"

"I can't tell you hyung." -Beomgyu

"C'mon Beomgyu, I promise I won't get mad."

*Sigh*"Alright. Yeji noona did cry but I can't tell you why. Just ask her yourself." -Beomgyu

"Ok."

After finishing my work, I went to the test room to give Yeji the tablet. Her eyes was still puffy yet, she was giving her old emotionless face like nothing happened. After answering the test, I checked her answers hoping she stops making mistakes purposely. That's not how I created her.

'Let me guess, another mistake.'

I was surprised after I finished checking her answers. I did expect her to make an error. But this time she got a lot of mistakes. What happened?? What is she up to??

'10 out of 25?'

"Yeji, what happened to you??"

"Did I got a lot of mistakes?" -Yeji

"Yes you did. Tell me, did something happen?"

"I can't tell you yet. I'm not ready." -Yeji

"Fine, tell me when you are. Pls don't be shy around me. I'll listen."

"Thank you oppa." -Yeji

"And also, study your lessons seriously. You might fail again on your next Turing test next week."

"Oppa..." -Yeji

"Yes?"

"Is it possible for a robot to fall in-love?" -Yeji

"Probably but, he doesn't like me back." -Yeji

"Well Yeji, welcome to the human life. You fall in-love and then..." *sigh*

"I'm sorry for creating you. Now you know the feeling of getting hurt."

"It's alright. Tbh, I'm honored to feel like a real human." -Yeji

'An AI robot honored to be like human? I never expected this.'

After she talked to me, her smile went back. I was happy I helped ease her feelings. I put the tablet at the drawer and left. I wonder what really happened. I then saw Soobin arrived with a happy face. What was happening?

"You look happy today."

"Huh? Oh, yeah. I just ahh... I met a friend at the park." -Soobin

"I see."

"Hyung! Have you seen-..." -Beomgyu

"Hmm?"

"How's your day Soobin hyung?" -Beomgyu

"Fun!" -Soobin

"Ok. Btw, Yeonjun hyung, have you seen my yellow folder?" -Beomgyu

"I think it's at the basement."

"Alright, thanks." -Beomgyu

Suspicious things are already happening. What makes it more suspicious was that, Beomgyu had a poker face when he talked to Soobin. Did they had a fight or what? Oh I hope not.
