Rigaku snapped his gaze his way. For somebody living simply, Kagetsu had spoken heavy words. "W-What do you mean?"

"I dunno, but I somehow understand. Inside that story is a bit of you. Just like there is a bit of me inside of Snow White." He scratched behind his neck. "I was terrified of talking about it, so I guess it was the same for you. I never imagined you to write storybooks."

"W-Well..."

"You supported me to embrace the part of me that's still confusing me right now." He lifted his hands, watching them as if he held invisible weights. "But knowing you have my back makes this much less terrifying, so know I have yours." Kagetsu stared into Rigaku's wavering eyes. "I'll support you."

The oldest Kamini took down his glasses, wiping a small tear. As the world turned into blurs, he noticed a blur that wasn't there a second ago. Putting his glasses back, he realized they were no longer alone.

"Alright, fess up. What I missed?" Aiyoku asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

Before Rigaku could react, Kagetsu jumped on his feet. "Ri is writing a child book! It's amazing!" His arms waved as if he tried to hitchhike an airplane, ignoring the hints his feet send into his brain.

"Really?" Aiyoku dashed into the room. "Can I see it?"

The oldest Kamini hesitated a bit before placing the notebook into Aiyoku's hands. As he opened the notebook, Rigaku looked at Freya. She scratched on her cheek with an awkward expression. There were still a few answers to obtain.

She gestured to be back in a few moments, and when she returned, they all waited for Aiyoku to finish reading.

"How long are you writing this one?" The middle Kamini asked, putting the opened pages on the coffee table. "I noticed a change in style here and there."

"I wasn't able to focus on it for some time. I'm not rewriting it on my laptop, it's easier for me to make adjustments."

"Makes sense. Mind if I suggest a few changes? I think some places could be phrased a bit differently."

"Of course, go ahead, but first"—Rigaku pushed back his glasses—"there is another story to hear."

Freya fidgeted at her place. 'Busted.' She let out a deep sigh. With red cheeks, she faced them, showing them the roots of this story.

They read her side of the story, learning how Freya discovered the notebook in the library and Rigaku when he was feverish. The oldest Kamini earned a few giggles. This was an unexpected cute side of his. Freya wanted the pictures to give Rigaku support, but she couldn't find time and place when to give them to him.

Kagetsu provided his input regarding the scribbles and how he designed them. They saw the rest of the pictures as well, finding their favorites among the different designs. Freya then forgot one in the clubroom, mixing it with other papers, and that was when Rigaku discovered it. Neither Kagetsu nor Rigaku talked much about what followed.
