Addison lightens her grip and before she realizes it you are racing into the field towards the flashing lights of the ambulance. You race to the ambulance as fast as your legs will carry you. When you reach the back of the ambulance you're frozen at the sight of Noah covered in blood sitting in the back. The EMT is stitching up the top of his head as a very dazed Noah turns to look at you as if he's trying to decide if you're real.

Your knees buckle and you fall to the ground in hysterical sobs. Everything in you is shocked that it really was Noah, you'd felt it… and that he was alive. The EMT jumped out of the back of the ambulance and tried to calm you as you cry.
The officer chasing you catches up and helps you stand up. He moves you to sit on the edge of the ambulance and offers you a bottle of water. A second officer approaches and tells them they were able to reach Noah's parents and the EMT needs to talk to them about transporting Noah to an ER.
He excuses himself and the two officers step aside after assuming that Noah knows me and is ok with me there. You climb into the back and look at this fragile boy you love and want to wrap your arms around him but you're scared.
He looks like he's in so much pain as you ask: "Are you ok?"
Noah was too stunned to answer so all you can say is: "I'm so sorry"

You felt responsible. He was upset about you and had wrecked
You: "Noah? Did you hear me? What happe-"
Noah: *interrupted but still in a daze* "I thought I was imagining hearing your voice… you said-"
You felt a lump in your throat choking you as you scrambled to find words to explain away the fact that he must have heard what you screamed.
Noah: "I love you too"
Before you could process the words. He leaned over and winced in pain before pushing his lips against yours. You needed this kiss more than you'd ever needed anything. Physical proof that you weren't imagining this and he was really right in front of you.
The officer moves outside and you hear him address someone as ma'am. You pull away from the kiss to see Noah’s mom looking up at you both.
She just smiles and doesn't mention the kiss as she tells Noah: "Your dad is going to ride with you to the ER to be checked out because you hit your head hard. Y/N, sweetheart. Would you like to ride with me up to the hospital?"
You: "I can come with you?"
Noah's Mom: "Well with the trouble you two had to go thru to finally admit what we all knew, I don't imagine there's anyway we are going to separate you right now"
