Everyone at school was enjoying the week leading up to prom. The school held spirit week with each day a different theme. Friday capped the week off with ‘dress as the opposite sex’ day. Griff and Dixie then Bryce and Addison tied for first place and got to put on a show during the pep rally. The entire school went insane and you were never going to let those boys live it down.

You stop and think about how much life has changed since the beginning of the year. Junior year was winding down and soon you all would be seniors. You and all of your best friends were in relationships with the boys of your dreams and you all made up this really amazing group of best friends.
School released early after the pep rally and everyone decided to head back to Bryce’s to hang so the boys could change and avoid going in public dressed like girls. Noah was the only one who hadn’t participated because he had been at an appointment during the morning. You watched Indiana try to help Blake wiggle out of the tight shirt he’d borrowed from her and couldn’t help but laugh. You turned around and bumped into Noah who held you steady and kept you from falling over him.
Noah: “Do you recognize this spot?”
You looked around confused and Noah pulled you close hovering a few inches from your ear before whispering: “Right here in this spot we had our first kiss”
He tenderly pressed his lips just below your ear and it sent waves of tingling sensations through your body. His lips glided along your jawline before placing a soft kiss against your bottom lip that left your knees weak.

Dixie interrupted your kiss before it could escalate and let’s you know that her mom called and wants you all back home. It was the night before prom and you girls had planned a sleepover so that you could spend the entire next day getting ready together. After settling into Dixie’s room everyone started chattering on about their dresses and how they planned to do their hair and makeup.
You: “I can’t believe how close we all ended up. I really hope it doesn’t change”
Dixie: “What could possible come between us that hasn’t already tried to… and we are all stronger than ever”
Addison: “I mean if sleeping with my boyfriend didn’t get in the way of ever being friends, then what can”
Indiana: “Ouch… you were on a break by the way”
Addison wrapped her arms around Indy laughing while all four girls shouted out the Friends quote: “WE WERE ON A BREAK” and fall over in uncontrollable laughter
