Homecoming was weeks ago and Nick now has a permanent seat at the lunch table. Him and Dixie have gotten a lot closer and you know she really likes him, but he hasn't seemed to notice. You get up and make an excuse to leave the table so you can give them some alone time in hopes that Nick will catch feelings back for Dixie soon. Addison leaves her Bryce and catches up to you asking where Noah is.

You: "Who knows. He is always busy at lunch time with teachers. He says he's trying to get ahead, but he literally has straight As. How much further ahead does he need to be?"
Addison: "I'm worried about you."
You: "Why? I'm literally fine."
Addison: "Y/N... you barely leave the house except school and even that you don't show up for a full school day very often. All you wear are hoodies and sweats everyday, what happened to that super cute makeover we gave you last year? It's like you just don't care about anything anymore."

You: "Maybe I don't."
Addison: "I'm being serious... you're showing signs of depression and I just want you to know that I'm here if you'll let me help you."
You: "I appreciate it, but honestly I'm fine. I just haven't felt the greatest. I'm sure it'll be ok."
You catch up with Noah and ask if he can drive you home early.
Noah: "I would, but I need to go by Griffin's after school."
You: "What? I thought we had plans today?"
Noah: "I know. I'm so sorry. I just feel so bad for him. Ever since him and Dixie broke up, he's like completely exiled from the group."
You: "You mean ever since he broke up with Dixie."
Noah: *ignoring your smartass remark* "I promise I'll make it up to you, babe. This Friday is our 1 year anniversary and I have a special night planned."
You: "You remembered..."
Noah: "Of course baby!!"
After school your mom surprises your and Indy and asks if she can take you for an afternoon of shopping. You really don't feel like going anywhere, but she just seems so excited to spend time together so you agree. Indiana keeps insisting she doesn't want her to buy her anything, but your mom is just so excited that Indiana finally lets up and has a good time. Your mom is looking through the racks while you hide in the fitting room in tears. She'd offered to buy you a date night outfit for your anniversary, but as you sat there in a pile of clothes that were your usual size but suddenly won't fit you can't help but break down.
Indiana: *interrupts knocking on the door* "Can I come in?"
You: "I'm ok. Just didn't find anything I like."
Indiana: "I could hear you crying from the stall next to you, so either you let me in or I'm busting in."
You open the door and sit back down in the pile of clothes in tears: "I've just been so depressed lately and I'm not doing any of the stuff I used to. All I do is lay in bed and I swear I've gained like 15lbs."
