Sighing as I sit down in an empty seat at a table in the far corner, away from other people, I begin to pull out my textbooks, opening to the right pages and placing them all over the table. The common room is pretty empty; a group of friends on the couches, a couple other people studying at the other tables, and some just hanging around. Adrian spotted me and said hi but left after he said we could talk later when I told him what I was up to.
I'm so concentrated on my school work that I don't realize an hour's already passed before I look up to see the common room completely deserted. Fortunately, I was able to get a ton of work done and was able to look over material for tomorrow's classes so I'm not off my guard. My stomach growls signalling it's probably time I took a break and went to eat dinner. I stand and quickly pack my stuff away before heading to my room to put my book bag away. When I go back to the common room so I can head to the Great Hall to eat, I realize I don't entirely know my way there yet.
Oh well, I'll figure it out or bump into someone who can help me on the way there. I walk out of the Slytherin Dungeon and walk in the direction I think I'm supposed to be walking in. Relief washes over me when I recognize the walls and flooring outside of the dining hall. Walking in, I spot Tracey and Pansy eating together and so I make my way over to them to join them for dinner.
"Hey," I say as I sit beside Tracey so that Pansy is sitting across from us.
"Hey," Tracey says covering her mouth while she chews.
"Hey, how was your first day at Hogwarts," Pansy smiles.
"Not bad to be honest with you, I really like it here, I mean Draco's dumbass is the only con about this school," I laugh a little as I spoon some of the freshly cooked meal onto my plate.
"Yeah he can be a dick," she giggles.
"Believe me I know," I giggle with her.
"What are your plans for the rest of the night," Tracey asks.
"Uh I don't know, I didn't have anything planned to be honest with you."
Pansy smiles at Tracey before saying to me, "you have to come with us, we're going to prank the Slytherin boys later as a welcome back kind of thing."
Loving the idea, an evil like grin forms on my face as I enthusiastically reply, "I like the sound of that. So what are we doing?"
