The girls and I rush over to the boys' dorms so we can set the pranks up as quick as we can and then leave before we get caught. We split up into two groups when we get there so we get it ready more quickly and we can cover more ground in a less amount of time.

Carrying the stink bombs that Fred and George supplied us with, Tracey and I rush to a random boys room and start stashing them in hiding spots so they won't know where the smell's coming from. I look around the room I'm in, realizing how surprisingly clean and tidy it is, and I notice that all the boys' rooms are like that as I make my way around each room planting something new in each one.

We end up getting everything set up and ready to go in under 10 minutes like we had planned and set the timers to go off in 3 hours. We'll all be in our respective dorms by then and the boys won't be able to do anything about it until tomorrow morning, well more like we won't have to be bothered to do anything about it until then considering the whole no boys in the girls dorms and well rules are rules.

It's been a little over 15 minutes now and we begin to grow nervous as the boys could be back any minute now when they "break up" the fight we had Fred and George set up to distract them.

The girls start to rush back to their dorms when we've all agreed that we're done setting up, but I notice that we have leftover supplies that we didn't end up using are at the end of the hall near the boys' bathrooms and showers.

Tracey also notices and looks at me, "shit, ok you can go ahead we don't want you getting in trouble on your first day if you get caught. I'll grab them and be right behind you."

"No it's fine go, go, I'll have a better excuse to use if I get caught, really it's fine," I stop her and start to wave her away.

She stands unsure of what to do before she says, "okay fine, just hurry," then turns and jogs away down the staircase to the common room.

I quickly jog over to the bag of supplies left at the end of the long hall, passing dozens of rooms. When I get to the bag of stuff we didn't end up using, I bend down to pick it up and notice out of the corner of my eye a small silver ring that I recognized, it looks like one of Tracey's.

I quickly grab it just in case it's hers and hurry back down the hall, rushing to leave before I get caught in the boys' dorms. Panic starts the fill me as some items fall because of a rip at the bottom of the bag. I stop and quickly grab the things that have fallen out and fumble as I try to hold the many items while trying the cover the now evident hole in the bag. I can feel the rip getting bigger against the palm of my hand and I can feel my heartbeat speed up as I almost trip and fall over my feet.

This is not happening, I repeat in my head, desperate to just get out. I make it to the staircase and speed down, just trying to get to the bottom of the stairs, as far away from the boys' dorms as I can before someone sees me.

I finally make it down and begin to speed walk to the staircase leading to the girls' dorms before anything else happens. Tracey's waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs, her eyes widen as she sees me trying to hold to paperbag together, but slowly failing. She rushes over to me and grabs some things out of my hands to make it easier on me to see where I'm going and to just lighten the load.

She goes up in front of me but I stop for a second to catch my breathe as I've never felt an adrenaline rush like this before. Kind of amazed at what we just pulled and my barely success of an escape, I sigh in relief.

I'm taking a couple deep breathes and laughing to myself at how mad the boys are going to be when they realize what happened, hopefully they won't take it too seriously and laugh it off like we intended for them to. Just as I'm about to start making my way up the staircase, the sounds of the boys' returns fill the common room.

"That was absolute rubbish!"

"Why the hell were we called to that!"

"Waste of my time!"

"That was so bloody stupid!"

Before I can get caught up in the boys' disappointment and upset, I rush up the stairs back to my dorm room, ignoring whoever it was who called out my name.

When I finally get back to my shared room, I quickly close the door shut, put my back to it and slowly sink to the floor. Pansy, Tracey and Daphne are all sitting there waiting for me and as soon as we all look at each other, the silence in the room is replaced by our laughter.

The air is filled with the happiness and exhilaration radiating off each of us as we excitedly talk about how we just hopefully set up a prank on the entirety of the Slytherin boys while breaking the rules on my first real day at Hogwarts, and got away with it.
