"It was you wasn't it, you bastard," I begin slowly, trying to control myself so I won't do anything I'll regret.
An evil grin slowly returns to his face, "it was just a harmless prank, y/n," he says slowly making the grin on his face grow bigger and bigger.
"Oh sure, 'harmless prank,'" I start mocking him, "Are you kidding me," my tone getting more serious and voice getting louder with each word, "I almost died."
I can feel Adrian walk over to my side, but he doesn't make any attempts to get me to stop or lower my wand from Draco's throat. My eyes dart to my left and my right, the rest of our scrimmage teams and Draco's friends are gathered around us, watching in awe and curiosity as to what I'm going to do.
Draco snickers lightly, his throat hitting the tip of my wand with ever jolt, "yes almost being the key word there. You almost died, so you're fine," he rolls his eyes.
"Draco," I slowly say, anger coursing through my veins, hints of red in my vision. I have never been this angry at someone in my entire life, I've never felt like this but then again, I hadn't met the prick standing in front of me.
"y/l/n," he taunts playfully, clearly not taking me or the situation seriously, which is just making me more mad. I press my wand into his throat to remind him who has the upper hand right now. His lips tighten to form a firm line as the playful look in his eyes slowly disappear.
"Stay out of my way, Malfoy, I mean it. Leave. Me. Alone. Or I swear-" I begin slowly before he interrupts me.
"Or you'll what? Do you know who I am? I'm-" he scoffs but I just push my wand into his neck at an angle where he has to look down at me.
"Don't interrupt me, especially not when I'm like this, you bloody idiot," I begin to raise my tone again, angered by the audacity of the tall boy in front of me. Yes he is towering over me and usually I'd be intimidated by that, but the amount of anger I've got built up inside of me has me completely overlooking that. Here I am, looking into the eyes of the boy who nearly got me killed because of a "harmless prank", my wand ready for me.
Knowing I can't really do anything with magic to hurt him, I pull back my wand and grab the collar of his collared shirt to bring his down to my eye level. His eyebrows lower and his eyes are cold.
"Don't test me, Malfoy. I can and will make your life a living hell," I whisper only loud enough for him to hear me. Shock and a hint of fear creep into his face as he processes what I just said, and honestly I'm a little shocked at what I just said too. Never in my life, have I had to talk to someone like this, but I've known well that if it came to it, I have the power to do so.
Having had the last word, I shoot him a last look before turning around to grab my stuff and leave. "Are you okay?" Adrian asks quietly as he puts his hand on my arm while he helps me grab my bag.
Before I get the chance to say anything, "I knew you were full of shit, wouldn't risk getting kicked out of Hogwarts," Draco chuckles as his friends gather around him again.
Without thinking, I turn quickly on my heel and aim my wand at him and with a slight flick of my wrist and the words, "everte statum," Draco flies backwards into the stands.
"You don't know me well enough to assume that, Malfoy," I scoff before leaving the boy struggling to get up behind.
