*Mal's P.O.V.*
"Finally we're here" Carlos says "You do realize that we still have to climb that mountain then get in the castle which there will probably be traps because it's literally the forbidden fortress then we have to get the scepter then we have to leave that castle then we have to climb down the mountain AND THEN we have to walk all the way back home" I say "UGH" everyone whines but me and Mad Maddie "Just kill me" Jay whines "Quite being a baby" I say and punch Jay in the shoulder "Yeah it won't be that bad... I hope" Malia says "Well let's go" I say I may have cancer but I'll bw fine I hope "Okay" Mad says "On your mark get set... GO" Me and Mad yell as we start to run up the mountain
*Malia's P.O.V.*
"Oh boy" I say as my sister and Mad Maddie raise up the mountain well hill and we all laugh "Let's go"
*5 minutes later*
We get a quarter of the way up the hill we see Mal and Maddie laying down on the ground out of breath "Are you guys okay" I ask "Yeah we're fine" Mal says "Next time let's not raise up a mountain as fast as possible at 8 am" Mad Maddie says "I agree... Help me up" Mal says and I go to help her up "Let's go" I say "Umm a little help getting up" Mad Maddie says "Mal has an excuse what's yours" I say being a smartass and Mal elbows me "The fact that I can't get up" Maddie says and Carlos helps her up
*A few hours later*
"Hey Mad are you thinking what I'm thinking" Mal asks Maddie nods "On your mark..." Maddie says "... Get set..." Mal says "GO" they both yell and start running again "Will they ever learn" I say/ask "Nope" Jay says and we all laugh again and we all start walking
*2 minutes later*
"There you guys are" I say as Mal and Maddie are sitting on some rocks out of breath "Why does everything always have to be a competition with you too" I ask "Because there crazy" Jay says "True" Maddie says "Can we take a break" Mal asks "Sure" I say and we and sit on some rocks "So when should we be back on the Isle of the lost" Evie asks "We're not even at the forbidden fortress yet... But I think there's magic near by" Carlos says "How would you know that" Mal asks "Well I created a device that can sense if there's magic near by and it says there magic at the top of the mountain" Carlos explaies "Awesome" I say sarcastically because it's awesome but he couldn't of mentioned it sooner
