S- The two reached the airfield to reunite with Tokihiro and John was quick to approach the officer in charge of the drop.
"Lieutenant John Fawkes of the Stalkers... we were told to report to you for the specifics of the drop? What's our infiltration point look like", John asked.
Z- "Right. Your drop point is a bit out of town, in a clearing near a forest. That way, it'll be easy to hide if necessary... according to our contact, that is. We'll leave as soon as everything is packed.
S- John nodded as he considered the plan and it seemed sound. They could make their way into the city from the forest and use sewers to maintain their stealth.
"Sounds like a sound plan....alright then do we have an meeting location where we are supposed to meet up with the contact", John asked before turning to the plane, "Toki....how we looking on gear we all set to go?"
Z- "Your contact will meet you at the drop zone, and from there will lead you into the city itself."
Tokihiro gives John a small nod before speaking "Yes, everything is packed, ready to go."
S- "Excellent.....alright then everyone get aboard....the sooner we get there the sooner this operation will be over", John said.
"Well alright then let's roll out", Jarrod said with a grin. The group boarded the plane and took their seats before settling in for the trip.
Z- the trip isn't too long, being a short flight over the channel. After less than thirty minutes in the air, the pilot heads to the back with the jumpers, the higher ups placing a familiar face at the controls. Arthur takes a seat across from them, having passed the controls on to his copilot, and gives John and Jarrod a familiar grin "Long time no see, eh mates? See you got a new tag along."
S- Jarrod immediately grinned followed by John giving a slight smile.
"Holy shit.....Arthur good to see you alive an kicking! Bet you've been giving the Krauts our own stalker brand of personal hell eh", Jarrod said
"Good to see you Arthur....yes this is Tokihiro our newest Stalker guys a natural born ass kicker", John said smiling.
Jarrod leaned back in his seat happy to see the one that turned him was still in good form."Hasn't quite been the same in the Stalkers without you brother....turns out John is even more insufferable without someone to share the misery with", Jarrod said smirking towards John who let out an unamused grunt.
Z- "God, yeah, it's been hell lately, with the shifter issues getting worse. They're built differently, more heavier set, like Göring was. I think he uses his own strain to make them. I heard that having a Japanese pilot as a part of the squad caused quite a stir, yeah? I assume he's some sort of weird Jap bloodline, or we wouldn't have him."
"You could say that. The incident with the chair was.... less than charming. It's mostly things like that. I'm yōkai, but I doubt that changes much." Toki says, quietly. It's not so much a sign of worry, the man just tends to be quieter.*
"Yōkai? Huh... well, at least it wasn't so bad after getting your new comrade, eh Jarrod? Though he seems to be a chip off John's old ice-block."
S- "Well that's troubling....though I have no doubt I could best Goring in a fight his strain is immune to my abilities and not easy to bring down....a large number of his strain could be....problematic", John said.
