Z- As expected, as they near the sub, the smell would be noticeable before they see their Russian associate, who, currently, was leaning on a telephone post, smoking and looking some papers over, a scowl in his features. As they get closer, he folds them up, placing them in his jacket, and looking over the group "I see you've picked up an escort. Are you sure this is the best idea, where we're going?" he says, likely hinting at Kara's gender.

Toki stays quiet, likely trying not to breath, to avoid the stench, while Richthofen rolls his eyes at the comment, but chooses not to get involved.

S- Soon enough they had reached the sub and almost immediately the smell hit them like a punch in the mouth. Neo almost immediately giving a look of disgust and rather openly shielding his nose the best he could. As Vlad approached them his next words made Jarrod almost do a jaw drop.

"So... Vlad... you said you became undead by dying somehow right... word advice keep talking like that and your going to become undead several times over and over again", Jarrod said.Kara smirked slightly if his comment had miffed her she certainly didn't let it show other than a brief narrowing of her eyes. John cleared his throat as he glanced at Vlad.

"I have no qualms about her coming... Agent Kensington can more than hold her own I assure you Lieutenant", John said.

"I'm just here to make sure the mission goes smoothly Lieutenant.....I assume this isn't a problem?", Kara said her voice professional.

Jarrod gently nudged Toki."Oh shit... she's got her professional tone on... she may not look it, but I'm pretty sure ol' Vlad just made a list ya don't want to be on", Jarrod whispered.

Z- At the comment from Jarrod, the Russian narrows his eyes, a slight greenish backglow noticeable along with the scent intensifying for a brief moment before disappearing. As it disappears, a pigeon that had been roosting on the telephone pole drops to the dock, dead. he regains his usual air of slight irritation after a moment, looking at Kara "No, there's no problem, I just prefer to be alerted about these sorts of things. Being on a submarine for a week with a bunch of men who haven't had a shore leave in a month, I'm just... concerned about your wellbeing as we didn't have time for the proper arrangements, Agent." He says, plainly, a slight scowl on his face the whole while. "I guess we'll have to make due. This is the least of our problems, at this point." with that, he turns on his heel, heading up the gangway and onto the sub... which, even by sub standards for the period, looked like shit. Seems the Russian program was, at this point, behind when it came to sea vessels.

S- Jarrod backs up a bit clearly disturbed by the Russian's display his eyes falling on the dead pigeon.

"Well... that was scary as all hell", Jarrod said quietly earning an eye roll from John.Kara meanwhile didn't seem surprised or disturbed by the display. Clearly this wasn't her first encounter with his kind though in reality that didn't surprise John in the slightest. She seemed to stare at the man for a moment before nodding.

"I understand Lieutenant... my being here was strictly off the record I apologize for the lack of warning on my presence... as for my wellbeing on the sub... you needn't worry about my safety though I would recommend keeping your men in line if for nothing else to avoid an incident", Kara said her expression not shifting in the slightest until a slight smirk curved on her lips, "Besides we likely need those men to operate the sub... would be rather difficult with broken limbs I can imagine".
