S- Jarrod and John were uniformed up as they made their way onto the Arizona and reported to the commanding officer. They were below deck at the moment as they talked among themselves in the cafeteria on board.
"Should be routine let's just check out the planes and get back to base", John said.
"Yeah sure....", Jarrod muttered not really listening
"Tch....your looking for the blonde again aren't you", John said crossing his arms.
"Huh sorry what were you saying John?", Jarrod said.
Z- A tall man joins them shortly after they arrive, a ranking officer, but he looks a bit tired himself "So, you two were the ones sent to look over the float planes?"
S- John and Jarrod both give the man a salute before John steps forward.
"Yes sir....we'll take a look at them make sure their up to snuff and we'll be on our way unless there's anything else you need from us sir", John said.
"It should be a quick maintenance really most upkeep sir if any is even necessary", Jarrod followed up with.
Z- "That should be all, then you're free to head back to your lot, get some rest. Anyway, planes are right this way." he motions for them to follow, leading off to the ship's hangar, where the two Kingfishers await... two, barely armed, old looking float planes.
S- Jarrod and John nod and give a salute as they follow after the man. The second they see the kingfishers they both shake their head.
"They weren't kidding when they said it was a scout plane......these things wouldn't last a second in a fight", Jarrod said.
"Let's just do the check and be done with it.....they aren't meant to fight with and they certainly don't need to be used for such at the moment. We just need functional", John reminded.
The two begin looking over the plane making sure everything would run smoothly in the event that someone actually got behind the pilots seat of the thing.
"Everything looks good....little old, but otherwise should be fine.....we serviced it up a bit sir should more than suit the navy's needs", Jarrod said after a short time of work.
Z- "Ah, perfect, good job, both of you. You're free to return to your base, then. I know your sort isn't used to our hours... no offense. Go back to your bunks... or coffins.. and try to get a good day's sleep?"
The officer isn't used to vampires, but tries his best. He doesn't intend to be offensive, instead trying to be accommodating, despite his lack of exposure to vampires.
S- John and Jarrod both gave the man a salute and nodded gratefully. It was clear the man wasn't used to vampires, but that was old hat for Jarrod and John. They knew he wasn't trying to offend.
"Thank you sir we were happy to help, but yeah I think it definitely wouldn't hurt to get out of the sunlight and back to bed", Jarrod said.
As the two began walking away they decided to head back down below decks for a moment and see if they grab anything from the mess hall. They walked through the narrow corridors of the ship and John scoffed.

Historical FictionDeath or Glory ended up being just massive, so I am making the WWII section a sequel. New characters, new enemies, new mayhem. Since it's a sequel, the same stuff applies, it was originally a vore RP so there's still some of that, possible character...
