Z- A few weeks after the attack on Pearl, the stalkers would find themselves in England once again, and immediately sent to military HQ. On the way, their Japanese comrade got some odd looks, but once it was clear the man was with the stalkers, it went smoothly, despite Ito's rather unusual behavior, by American standards.
S- John opened the door into the British HQ followed by Jarrod and Tokihiro. They looked a little rough considering the difficulty of the trip through the devastated city. The Blitz was still in full swing and John and Jarrod specifically had sour expressions on their face. Once again spotting old enemies had been an unpleasant reminder of the past. On their journey through the city they had obviously seen shifters flying through the air and both of the stalkers had found themselves tense. They had started getting used to normal life and now once again they would be tasked with hunting those dangerous hunters.
Walking into the war room of the military HQ John quickly addressed the nearest British soldier."Leuitenant John Fawkes of the American special forces unit the Stalkers.....who's in charge here soldier", John said.
Jarrod meanwhile was perfectly content to let John do all the major talking. He was their highest ranking member after all and Jarrod was busy on the look out for Arthur though the odds that he would be in this very base were quite slim.
"Those booms are louder than I would like....damn Krauts are really sticking it to London.....", Jarrod said glancing at Tokihiro.
Tokihiro was a bit different than John and Jarrod were used to, but so far neither of them had been anything less than welcoming to him. It seemed what country you came from mattered very little to the Stalkers once you were a part of their elite group you might as well be family. Even John had warmed up to the man significantly on the trip to England....as significantly as possible when it came to John anyway.
Z- Oddly enough, shifters seen in the air seemed different from the last war, more uniform in color, ranging from black to brown, and not any of the odder patterned ones like Richthofen and his sibling.
The soldier immediately turns, doing a salute, but looking slightly confused at their shorter comrade. "I'll tell the general of your arrival... wait here sirs." with that, he scampered off. "I suppose that's why we were sent here, isn't it?" Tokihiro says, putting his hands behind his back "We'll take care of it... I just hope they give me something better than that flying dumpster you Americans call a fighter."
S- John nodded as the soldier ran off to fetch the general before turning his attention to Jarrod and Tokihiro. Jarrod was quick to shoot a smirk Toki's way.
"Flying dumpster? What you would prefer the Japanese fighters that fall apart like cheaply made glass?", Jarrod said giving Toki a taunting nudge.
"In the end it's not the plane that matters it's the skill of the pilot....clearly that extra maneuverability didn't make much of an impact eh Toki", John said with a slight smile.Jarrod chuckled before shrugging.
"All joke and aside though you two get a look at the shifters in the sky.....things almost look damn factory made all black or brown....look bigger too....", Jarrod said."Nervous?", John asked.
"Fuck no.....I'm ready to show the Germans that their advancements didn't mean shit back then and it won't now", Jarrod said.
