Daniel and I finished the small pizza and our own drinks. As usual we started off with a simple basketball game.

You put a dollar worth in and when you pressed the start button. The balls will roll down and you would need to shoot it in the hoop. Simple as that.

Except the way Daniel and I would play. We had to check if they're people around us.

"Ready?" Daniel asks

"Yup"

We put the quarters in and clicked start at the same time. We could just take turns on one but that wasn't the part that made it fun. There were a few of these machines but we chose the ones next to each other. After about thirty seconds he was in the lead and I knew it was time.

I already remembered how he would throw the ball. At the small pause he did above his head, I smacked it away and it rolled the other way.

"Hey!" Daniel laughed going for a new ball and I did the exact same thing.

Then quickly grabbed the third and last ball shooting it in mine and making it as he tried getting mine. The minute countdown was finally up.

"I still won! And you sabotaged me!" Daniel cheers, running down and grabbing the two run away basketballs.

"Whatever I was better at skee ball" I mumble and make my way over to the skee ball machines. Making sure to watch out for running children. This area was usually packed. It also had the ticket stand nearby.

I take notice into Daniel talking to two girls a bit younger than me. I put in a dollar fifty and six skee balls roll down.

Picking up a few and scoring well. This was probably the only game I was good at, consistently.

"Wow, didn't wait for me?"

"Mm? Oh nah, didn't feel like just standing here" I smile

"Or because you don't want me to sabotage you" he laughs "it's only fair" he grabs a ball and scores a fifty "beat that!"

"I already got a hundred" I point to my score "so let's see" I roll a ball up the ramp landing perfectly in the fifty.

"Ha you didn't beat it!"

"I literally just said I already got a hundred, I didn't want to leave you in the dust that badly with a high score" I laugh

"Let's go play basketball again" he huffs and walks away from both me and the basketball areas.

"You're not even done!" I call out and finish my game.

Daniel jokingly trudges over and finishes his game poorley "how are you still getting tickets" I shrug "did you break it?"

"No I didn't break it, I'm just actually good at this game" I say and bundle up my tickets in a small plastic bag I had been given.

"You even got a bag!"

"Yes that's what it's called" I laugh and follow Daniel to a different section.
